I am putting out the feelers for a very special home for a very special horse.
cricket; 2 starts, retired as 3 year old, sire: Carravaggion Dam: Criquette
Cricket is approx 16hh and 5 year old thoroughbred gelding. He has been to a handful of events, clinics, horse trials, combined training days etc. Cricket is safe and an uncomplicated ride, however he can get hot when off property, this is settling down with more exposure but will continue to require education on this front.
Cricket is safe, so safe he was used for a season as a lead pony for breaking in thoroughbreds. he had colts being lead off him and was very tolerant. He is a lovely type who produces a lovely picture both on the flat and over a fence. He is very brave showjumping where nothing scares him, no fill or dazzles etc. He is becoming more and more brave with ever cross country school, he is now confident with ditches, water, ditch brushes etc, the odd randomly placed house can still startle him, haha.
Cricket did sustain an injury to his hock whilst racing, this has been rehabilitated and spelled and he is sound and ready to find his next human. I don't believe cricket will make a FEI level eventer, but he shows enough willingness and ability to compete at the highest levels of pony club/ ARC.
He really could be exceptional in any phase, he has a stunning head, great confirmation and lovely movement, he could show, dressage, event, dressage etc. I believe him to be an excellent candidate for the OTT series (BIG PRIZE MONEY)
i will be very choosy with his next home as he has been with me for almost 2 years.
he is currently finishing a spell but will be in work before viewings (hence why he is EOI, not yet for sale)

Colac horse trials 2023
Super fun and relaxed weekend with B1, Bec Brammer, we had every weather event possible including an earthquake…. Which I slept straight through

Coldstream Ursula stepped back up to EA 80
Ever so consistent jumped a double clear only adding 0.8 time faults to her score,
Pretty good to make up time after giving the jump judges a show between fence 1 and 2 🤦‍♀️
Finished 3rd

Competing in the young eventing horse 95 6/7 year olds
High expectations for Frankie since he has been schooling so well at home, but got to the event and it all fell apart
Uncharacteristically tense in the dressage, and a stop on cross country has left me a little frustrated, we have schooled step drops so much so it was a bit sh*tty to have a stop at the steps, but he did a fantastic show jumping round, so at least there is some improvement there

Ursula was anything but consistent 🤣 but legs remained on the ground and she did every movement, albeit a bit chaotically! She’s still learning
But doesn’t she photograph well 💕

Thank you to the amazing committee who did a flawless job of hosting a massive event of 560 riders! That’s insane! Everything ran without a hitch and didn’t the weather put on a show!

I am looking for an experienced and competitive competition home for this EXTREMELY talented horse
This probably a limited time offer- but I feel Val’s true calling lies in show jumping and my heart belongs to eventing

Val is a 9yrs 16.1hh OTT thoroughbred

Valentine can seriously jump! He has the most scope I have ever sat on, it is incredible, I would love to see a showjumping rider take him to ott classes and show jump
Val is lovely and kind, he is sweet and loves attention, he stands tied to the float and is excellent to handle in every way

He has jumped courses of 1m and grids exceeding that, he has been out to 3 competitions, he can get tense at comps but is getting better every outing and warms out of it quickly- and only for dressage, no tension when he knows he’s jumping 🤣

he will lift a hind leg when doing back straps of a rug, and has been known to kick when he was racing- has not tried to kick since retired but does give warnings
He is great to catch/ shoe/ wash/ clip/ worm/ needle
Currently clipped and barefoot
I have owned this horse since he retired from racing in December 2021 and followed his racing journey very closely, he means a great deal to me and it breaks my heart to advertise him
He is well educated on the flat, a simple snaffle bit mouth, he can be lazy and get behind the leg so I ride with spurs and a whip

He did retire with a tendon injury but was rehabilitated and spelled for 12 months before commencing retraining and currently has a splint which has healed, vet checks are welcome

Very easy keeper and gets along with other horses well
Mia can be ridden and is 100% sound, she competed dressage grade 3 pcav, she has been known to buck in the past and had 3 years in the paddock, she was recently bought back into work and whilst she has not bucked coming back into work this time around she has been quirky and because of this I feel she is probably best to be a broodmare and produce lovely babies, or can be purchased as a project if you wish
