Seth doing a great job turning Raz into a kids safe Pony ❤️ Raz is currently being broken in and looking for his next adventure in life if anyone is looking for a Pony. He's registered Arabian Pony
Ponies on the Walker. First 3 are ours, last 2 are client ponies. Gotta love the Arabian snort from Desi 🤣🤣
Hannah today. Time to leave the comfort zone and experience things jumping out of bushes 🤣 she didn't put a foot wrong. Centre pivot was on next door, she had a look and kept walking.
Hannah today. First time ridden with proper contact. She's doing great.
After taking a break from breaking and lessons I have decided to to take on some new clients. Today Kieran came for his first riding lesson, he has been on a Pony once before this. We practiced racing our arm to hollow out his back and so he could get a feeling of what position he needs to be sitting in and taking his hands off the monkey strap one at a time to gain balance. He did extremely well and by the end had the confidence to take both hands off the monkey strap and ride without holding on at all.
Doing some lunging with Arty, Standardbred gelding looking for his next chapter in life in the coming weeks
Have had this little fella in for breaking for a little while, this was his third ride, he's a very reactive little chap and took to the flag like a pro, first time using the flag.
Today we ventured out of the safe zone of Hope's yard, first little trot, such a superstar 🌟
Working with Caspar today, very impressed with this boy because he has a bit of a phobia about things flapping around on his back etc, put a handful of stones in each bag to make them rattle and he handled it like a pro ❤
Broke Caspar in 3yrs ago and he's been sitting in the paddock since. Threw the saddle on this morning and gave him a little lunge and he couldn't care less. Time to come back into work big fella and actually do something with your life mate.
Desi today, first time being ridden out on the end of the lunge, first time actually having a rider have contact and actually do the steering and stopping. She was a good girl, a bit confused but tried her heart out. She's going nicely, so glad I put loads of groundwork into her, it pays off in the long run, she did play with the bit having contact but nothing sinister and stopped once she worked out what was going on. Thanks Adele for riding her as I can't because I'm too big and Tyron doesn't have the experience to be doing it on a young horse just yet.
