An absolutely wonderful client of ours has to make the heart breaking decision to rehome her precious Boo. She is a beautiful girl and we want nothing but the best for her. If you are genuinely interested please contact Lynne at Animals In Need Brisbane or PM us for more information :)
From Lynne:
"Beautiful Boo is a 10 year old German Shepherd who has spent the last 7 months being homed, loved and adored in her 2nd home after her original owner of 9 years passed away suddenly last year. Now, sadly, again due to illness, Boo needs to find her forever home π."
From her owner:
"Boo has been such an important part of my life over the last 7 months. We have spent so much time together and she has transformed so much from when she first came to me.
Boo has just celebrated her 10th birthday. Sheβs not an old doggie in any way. She can race up 13 steps from the garden and skip through the house when she hears visitors knock on the front door. She loves people β all people π. She adores her walks πΎ and gets so excited when she knows she is about to be taken out. She walks so well on her halti. She doesnβt like other dogs but is guided easily away when on a walk and will ignore other dogs when u keep on walking and cross the road.
She is an inside and outside dog but always sleeps inside at night on her bed. In the day she loves being in the garden pottering around but she will come & find you to check on you to make sure you are ok βΊοΈ.
She loves playing ball and she is like lightning chasing it and bringing it back to you π to you to keep throwing over and over. Itβs her absolute favourite thing to do. At night she is quiet and will sleep in her bed in your room or in a cool spot outside your room.
Boo is loving but also independent. She doesnβt need to be attached to you but likes to just do her thing & then hang out and sit and watch you if youβre reading a book π or watching tv. Boo is not a barker unless she spies a dog walking past the front garden fence. She doesnβt react to the dog barking next door unless she thinks something is going on. She doesnβt bark when people she knows visits. She has a sixth sense.
She loves tummy rubs and cuddles and she will sit on your foot when she comes to you. She doesnβt like her feet touched but she is fine with her legs if u need to hold one up to rub her tummy. She doesnβt like storms or thunder but doesnβt freak out or bark. She will just find you and want to sit by your side if it thunders and yo put tv on she will not react at all.
Boo has a bit of arthritis in her back legs but she is not stiff and is very physically active. She is well
mannered and follows normal commands like come, sit, lie down. She is very smart. You can tell her to find her ball ? The garden really is her favourite spot in the day.
Best suited to a couple or single person.
Friends are always shocked at her age when they meet her as she is so active. Her coat is beautiful. She is lovely π xx
