This is Pippa she will be coming in to see me before she heads off to the Sydney Royal show I maybe biased but this little gem is going to do awesome in her show career with her wonderful owners.
The Curly-Coated Retriever is a beautiful breed known for its curly, water-resistant coat. It is one of the oldest retriever breeds and is often used for hunting due to its excellent swimming ability and awesome nose. The breed is highly intelligent, energetic, and friendly, making it a great companion for active families. Curly-Coated Retrievers are known for their trainability, but they require mental and physical stimulation to stay happy. Their curly coat requires regular grooming to prevent matting , they are trimmed with scissors to keep them tidy , it's encouraged to air dry so the tight curls remain.They are generally healthy dogs and can make great pets for those with an active lifestyle.

Sometimes you just have to dig in and be brave. Leroy has never been to the beach because I'm terrified of un leashed dogs. Today I said stuff it ,it's raining the beach should be quiet let's go for it . He loved it. I'm so happy

I don't know if any of you can relate but Leroy the big gentle lab is pretty dog reactive it can be exhausting. I feel like I have let him down with sloppy training, half arsing lead work, his walking and all of his training in general . I have used many training techniques with him and If I'm honest I didn't communicate any of it clearly to him . He has never been able to run our property in fear of him legging it off after wildlife and not coming back . We have been working everyday getting him out in public , working on walking to heel and re call under distractions. Today he blew my mind off lead on our property . We also walked past 4 dogs today without him completely loosing his mind. It's how much time and effort and clarity you put into them. I want to say thanks to @sarah.lufe.dog.trainer for giving me that kick up the arse I needed ! To be honest with myself and to stop treating my dog like a baby . Why is it that all the things you already know and tell people how to do it becomes so hard to put into practice with your own dog? Looking forward to seeing how he handles a class full of dogs Sunday .
