It's that time of year - more than 21,000 pet registration renewals have been sent out and are due for payment by April 10, 2023 🐾

All dogs and cats over the age of three months must be registered with the City and microchipped. Registration fees go towards the City’s local law services that respond to wandering dogs, dog attacks, nuisance problems like barking dogs, cat trespass and un-owned animals.

Pet registration is a basic measure that can help ensure the pet is returned if it gets lost or escapes from a property.

If pets are unregistered, their owner may be liable for unnecessary pound fees if their unregistered pets are reported wandering and our City officers cannot return them directly to their homes.

If you no longer have a pet that was previously registered, please contact us so our records can be updated.

After 2 decades of providing petcare services to my local community, it’s become time to make the difficult decision to hand over the reigns…. I have had many wonderful experiences and met some truly beautiful people during that time and wish to thank you all for your support, trust and kindness 🙏🏻
The way you have all welcomed me into your homes to care for your precious fur family has been a highlight in my life’s journey and words simply don’t express how grateful I am ❤️
If I am in possession of keys to your home, please rest assured I will be in touch regarding their return asap.

With minimal rate changes over the past 20 years, it has now become necessary to facilitate a rate increase to all clients. New Service agreements will be distributed as necessary and we look forward to visiting all our much loved fur babies as the busy season kicks off 😻
