Some of you lovely people are aware for the past 12 months, after a 40 plus year hiatus I decided to get back into drawing and give acrylic painting another shot. My aim in part is to be able to do some pet portraits at some time in the future. So for now, enjoy my very first half decent painting of a gorilla. A in process Springer with another Springer sketched and waiting for painting to begin.

First of all, meet Daisy.

Daisy May is a Border Collie x Kelpie and has the sweetest character. She is not my dog but rather has been a dog training client and she comes and stays regularly with me and my German Shepherd. She was the inspiration for the name for the page and she will be putting her paw of approval on the products we make and/or supply.

There is a lot of dog gear on the market today and unfortunately a large proportion of it although cheap is badly made and just cannot stand up to the rigors of our Australian Bush. We are not interested in providing cheap nasty products that will break. We want the gear you buy for your dog to last. Your dog deserves that and your hip pocket will thank you.

It was a very long time ago that was playing around with knots and cording and back them the world of Macrame was really a thing and a lot of people were doing it. The products made from this knotting technique are sturdy and last for ever. So moving right along a few decades I have decided to take up knotting again only this time using Paracord. Now Paracord is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes so it is very strong indeed. We use the 550 or the Type III type Paracord. We will use other types of ropes for various products but will always ensure it is of the highest grade and have a high breaking strain.
