Hi everyone!

Please note that Highlands Mobile Vet will be closed very briefly over the Christmas Period from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day. Should you need to refill any of your pets long term medications, please ensure this is organised before Friday 20th December, otherwise they will not be able to be collected until after Christmas 💊

Yesterday evening Dr Eden was called out to see a lovely cow who was suffering from a severe case of Milk Fever (hypocalcaemia). Thanks to her owners quick thinking, Maggie made a full recovery and was up nursing her calf before Dr Eden left 🤍 These photos were taken just over an hour apart 🐄 💉

What does everyone think of the new vet trailer! 🚑👩🏻‍⚕️ This trailer is designed to mimic a veterinary clinic out on the road containing small animal scales, vaccination fridge, wash down sink, medicine dispensary and mini office!

Would any one be interested in a video tour of inside once it’s all done?! 👀

Probably one of the best parts of the job 😍 Lassie needed a little help whelping, so Dr Eden helped deliver her litter in March. Fast forward 6 weeks and this morning she got to show off her 11 beautiful babies 🥹 💛

Yesterday Dr Eden did a first-aid talk with a lovely group of young school children at the Glencoe Community Centre - discussing the 5 most common pet emergencies ⛑️ Nurse Sage let some of the children practice bandaging and how to safely protect seizuring dogs 🐶 Thankyou GLENRAC for a beautiful morning!

Nurse Sage decided to come for a drive with Dr Eden to a couple of rural properties yesterday. Here she is looking after (a very sedated) Bowie 💉

NB: it is very difficult to get two animals looking at the camera and stand still at the one time 🤣
