Today, our hearts are completely broken.
Our sweet little Chloe, just 12 weeks old, lost her fight with Parvo.

She tried so hard.
She fought with everything she had.
But despite the incredible efforts of the vets and everyone who cared for her, her tiny body just couldn’t keep going.

Chloe came to us from a heartbreaking start to life — but from the moment she entered our rescue, she was loved, she was protected, and she was fought for.
She did not leave this world alone.
She left surrounded by care, dignity, and compassion.

Parvo is ruthless.
It is unfair.
And today it claimed a little soul who deserved so much better.

Chloe, your short life mattered.
We will remember your brave spirit, your gentle eyes, and the way you touched every heart that heard your story.
Run free now, sweet girl.
No more pain. No more suffering.
Just love.

✨ Giving Tuesday ✨
Today, the world shows up for those who can’t speak for themselves… and for Diamond in the Ruff Rescue, that means standing beside every dog who’s been failed, forgotten, abandoned or left behind.

This year has pushed us harder than ever —
🐾 Pounds overflowing
🐾 Carers in short supply
🐾 Medical bills skyrocketing
🐾 Dogs arriving from kill lists with no time left
🐾 Babies like Chloe, Star and Ziggy fighting Parvo alone
🐾 Oreo bone and fractures through her hip and pelvis. The X-rays show she has an osteosarcoma (tumor which explodes) .
🐾Willow, hit by 4WD, three fractures to her pelvis and the femoral head and broken away on one side.

We are volunteer-run. We don’t have paid staff. We don’t have government funding.

🌟 URGENT FOSTER CARER NEEDED FOR CHLOE & STAR (12 WEEKS OLD) 🌟

Central Coast NSW or willing to travel

Chloe and Star are now 12 weeks old and have both tested NEGATIVE for Parvo.
They are no longer shedding the virus, which means they CAN safely be around vaccinated dogs.

These girls have been through absolute hell — and now that they’re finally well enough to leave the vets, we have nowhere for them to go.

Transport is extremely limited until late December, so we urgently need someone on the Central Coast or willing to drive there.

What They Need

🐾 A foster carer on the Central Coast NSW
— OR someone willing to travel to pick them up
🐾 Vaccinated resident dogs are OK
🐾 Someone home often or working from home
🐾 A clean, safe, puppy-friendly environment
🐾 Willingness to monitor them as they finish recovery
🐾 Basic puppy hygiene (no special Parvo protocols needed now)

Never a dull moment in rescue.

We have had a pretty crazy 24hours.
Today I got a call for emergency transport for a young dog who was hit by a car a 3 days ago. My client is in a tough situation that many people find themselves in. A pet needing care but no vet willing to help unless payment is made up front. Like many of us times are getting hard and living pay to pay is more normal.
We show up to the vet office that had agreed to help but there was no vet on site! Of we go to one just across the road to again be met with the same hurdle.
I called our great friends at Diamond In The Ruff Rescue who jumped into action and got us an appointment with their vet.
Clients had some urgent matters to attend to and so we were entrusted with her care.
This poor darling has three fractures to her pelvis and the femoral head and broken away on one side. She is in for a very long journey to get better. She has been sent home with some great pain relief and a plan for surgery and recovery.
Please support your local rescue groups. They are amazing and have the biggest hearts.

On another horrible note our business has been targeted by a scam and our bank account has been drained. It appears that our business debit card was skimmed while paying for fuel and they have then used the information to process payments somewhere in North America. We have reported everything and are working with the bank on a fraud case.
Small business is just that… we are small and every cent counts. Support small.
We are lucky that we keep two separate accounts and will be ok while the investigation is ongoing.

Now it’s time to rest and get ready for another week.

We urgently need to relocate two foster dogs — Bear & Suzie — from Yamanto, QLD to Bellingen, NSW.
If you’re travelling south (or know someone who is) and have a spare Space (or crate space), could you kindly help with their transport?

Details:

Pick-up: Yamanto/Qld (Ipswich area)

Drop-off: Bellingen/NSW (near Coffs Harbour region)

Animals: Bear & Suzie — handled with care,
Timing: Needed before Next Friday 5th December
What’s needed: Safe, secure transport, a quick comfort break for the dogs, maybe some water and toilet break along the way.
Or even to Byron Bay

💔 DRAKA’S STORY DESERVES TO BE HEARD… 💔

Some dogs break quietly.

No other pets • Safe home needed • Ongoing vet bills 💔
Location; ANYWHERE IN NSW

Chloe and Star are finally stable enough to leave vet care and continue their recovery in a foster home — but they cannot go back to their original carer, and they cannot be around any other pets due to Parvo risk.

These two little girls rely heavily on each other for comfort. After everything they’ve been through, separating them right now would be extremely stressful. We’re looking for a special foster carer who can take BOTH girls together.

What They Need:

🐾 No other pets in the home (strict Parvo isolation)
🏡 Someone home most of the day or working from home
🧼 A carer willing to follow strict cleaning & hygiene protocols
– wear gloves when removing faeces
– do NOT allow them on grass
– disinfect with F10 or bleach
🤍 A calm, quiet environment where they can rest and heal
These two little pups have fought so hard. They find comfort in each other — and after the trauma of Parvo treatment, they deserve a safe, loving foster home where they can recover together.

With the vet bills already extremely high, finding a foster carer will not only help the girls heal, but also help the rescue manage ongoing costs.

🚨 URGENT CARER NEEDED – WESTLAKE QLD

Oreo – Female Dalmatian
Only Dog Home Needed

We urgently need a new carer for Oreo, located in or near Westlake, QLD.

Oreo has become overwhelmed during her transition into a new home, and unfortunately a fight occurred between her and Snickers. In the process of separating them, one of the family members was injured and required medical care.

Everyone’s safety is our priority.

Oreo herself is a loving, affectionate girl, but she is extremely stressed from recent upheaval and must be in an ONLY DOG home at this time.

What Oreo Needs

A calm, patient carer

No other dogs in the home

Secure yard

Someone who can give her space, routine and time to decompress

Located near Westlake QLD (or able to meet within an hour )
