A change of pace for me last night, and a return to my favourite part of horses π
I was asked to cover a foaling shift at a local farm and welcomed this lovely filly out of a first time mum.
I've spent most of my career foaling, both in Australia and overseas, so I was very happy to get my foaling fix in for this year!
What a glorious autumn morning! π
No rest for the wicked!
Between the wombats and the rain, we have a few of major repairs to catch up on now that everything has dried out! I think, just quietly, that James is a tad excited to have the big toys to play with over the Christmas break π·π
Hoping everyone had a great Christmas, and even better New Year to come ππ
Guard dogs or road hazards? π€π€
Buddha and Nyx hard at work this morning!
Nyx helping to inspect our reseeded paddocks, I think they're nearly ready!
Spring is fast approaching and so is the breeding season! For a lucky few, there are already cute foals running around paddocks causing havoc π
Did you know that as well as our injury management services, we have extensive experience in neonatal care? From premature and septic foals, to leg deviations requiring surgery (periosteal strip and transphyseal screws), or just simple confinement to allow foals to strengthen lax tendons.

Extremely excited to have Jaime from Greenline Premium Property Care here today to sow a new seed bed in some extremely run down paddocks. Can't wait to see the new growth and to possibly welcome some new agistees come spring! π₯°
The first half of our new jumping equipment arrived today so of course Lisa and Alaska needed to put it to the test right away!
Can you guess where the name "Running Creek Agistment" came from?
Well, the resident pest has arrived, so I can now say that we are officially open π
