Well we had the opportunity to catch up with Frank Finger with Annie, Luci from season1 of muster dogs plus Lucky from season 2 and also got to meet Zoe Miller with her dog Buddy winners of season 2 muster dogs we were able to get them looking great before they put on their shows at the atherton Show.

Don’t forget the shows are in town Malanda is this weekend and Atherton’s show is Monday and Tuesday next week keep your dogs safe from fireworks!

🔔 SHOWTIME AND PETS — Remember your fireworks safety for pets before show season.

This Saturday night from 8.30pm fireworks will go off at the Malanda Show.

At the Atherton Show, fireworks will be on Monday 8th July from 8.30pm.

Don’t forget we are away this weekend as we are up in Cooktown seeing all our clients and it the Cooktown’s discovery festival hopefully we can get some spare time to pop around and have a look at this wonderful weekend! Catch everyone on Monday when we be back on deck!

Worth a Mention

George, the brave Jack Russell Terrier who saved five children from a vicious attack by two pit bulls in Manaia, New Zealand.

Despite being much smaller than the attacking dogs, George courageously defended the children, barking and rushing at the pit bulls to protect them. He was so severely mauled in the fight that a veterinarian had to put him down due to the extent of his injuries. George's bravery didn't go unnoticed.

The New Zealand Society for the Protection of Animals awarded him a bravery medal, and he was also awarded the PDSA Gold Medal by the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals.

This medal is considered the animal equivalent of the George Cross, a testament to George's extraordinary act of bravery. They also erected this monument.
