To say it’s been a chaotic three weeks is an understatement - with three huge competitions in three weeks as well as hosting zone camp, travelling to QLD, Sydney & quirindi plus lots of lessons and client horses 😂🙈 so I apologise to everyone while I’ve been underground - and a massive thanks to L.E. Digital Design for throwing things online for me while I’ve been offline. 😂

But throwing it back to three weeks ago, we ventured north to QLD for Tamborine chasing a 4*L MER for finchy and an outing for some other horses. Finchy did an amazing test to have us sitting in the lead cracking another over 70% test - and started amazingly around the course - Bless his amazing soul when he locked onto a skinny tuft of massive brush and a flag and was deemed a missed flag. I did a query to gamble inside or outside the flag, but unfortunately was deemed outside the flag and therefore eliminated. No discredit to him - he jumped incredible and went exactly where I steered him He’s pulled up incredible since and is about to begin our final prep for the year. I’m hoping I can get my s**t together - and ride half as well as this horse deserves.

APH New Sensation did his second 3* - with an amazing test; but he as amazing on the XC - and tried his guts off for me. I made a mistake on a turn to the 3rd last fence and pulled him off - he would have absolutely tried to jump it on the rediculous angle I gave him, but it wouldn’t have been fair. He finished 4th with an MER, but honestly just proved how much he tries and is such an exciting horse for the future! Scarily I don’t think 4* is far away at only his second 3* - he’s just incredible

Valerius Scipio owned by Jennifer Howlett enjoyed his first interstate trip - finishing on his dressage score to be 5th in a huge 1* class. He produced one of his best cross country rounds and the fitness work Antonia has been doing while I’ve been out paid off.

Antonia Foster and Gabby also got to enjoy their first interstate competition with a beautiful test and a PB showjumping round - and stormed around the cross country.

It’s Helmet Awareness week; and after two falls this year for me; replacing my helmet was a no brainer - but even if you haven’t had a fall or you think there’s only minimal damage; just chuck it and replace it - loving my KASK helmet, that looks good, feels comfortable and has fabulous protection.

We have a huge few weeks ahead with a trip to QLD next weekend for their international 3 day, backed up with Equimillions and then backed up with Quirindi Eventing. (Yes I may die of exhaustion) So get in quick for lessons this Sunday - of course Saturday we will be supporting our wonderful Merriwa Ag Show with their prestigious 6 bar challenge (Albie still has 40k of vet bills to pay off) 🦄🥂

There’s only 4 dressage spaces remaining, and still plenty of jumping spaces available. So be sure to get your entries in the avoid missing out.

You all know I am the queen of taking on too
Much (usually at the expense of Antonia) who has to help me catch up!

But: we are ready to open up our second round of merchandise orders.

I am going through the list of those who ordered between last order and this one (I apologise as it fell off my bandwagon after my accident).

The shirts and hats remain the same (as I loooovveee them!) but the jackets have had a revamp; Less bomber and more fitted (like the Melbourne jackets) and a much stronger zipper!

So in the next few days I’ll open up
Orders (using my website). We have a 25 MOQ so as soon as we have 25, the order goes in and usually 4-6 week wait. I’m very excited to get this opened up again and Thankyou everyone for your patience and support. Stay tuned!

🦄Wildfire Equestrian Dressage and Showjumping protocol day 31st August 🦄

*please read all info below before Nominating*
MAKE SURE YOU FILL THE FORM IN CORRECTLY PLEASE & Thankyou 🙂. We are also trialling select your own dressage times - rough times for Showjumping will be released after close of entries starting with 50cm at 9am.

Show jumping Full Rounds (50cm through to 2*) with 4* rider Jess Somerfield. Jump club style rounds with help/feedback and coaching if needed. Great for young horses or to train/step up to a new level. Welcome to help with course walking/any other tips/advice. Great preparation for Sydney ode/equimillions and everything else.

Dressage Protocol - Ride an Eventing or FEI test of your choice, judged / marked by Previous FEl rider & dressage judge; Amy Brydon. Amy is welcoming for all levels of horse and rider! Immediate feedback from Amy and chance to re ride / improve and have horses feel
comfortable in the ring and learn where to pick up extra marks in your test.

This year our Protocol day will run at Wildfire Equestrian, please keep the following in mind before you attend in order to ensure everyone has a good day.

- Though we have plenty of space for parking, we will not have yards available for horses.
- We will not have any food or drinks available for riders, so please be sure to come prepared.
- We ask for everyone to lend a hand where they can, i.e putting jumps up, dressage penciling.
No entries will be accepted without proof of payment. It’s first in best dressed, any entries that cannot be fit in will be refunded in full. Entries will close 5:00pm 29th of August unless filled prior. No refunds will be provided for scratchings after the closing date.
