But look a little closer and you find the workers inside are not being paid and the people in line are eating for free.

For one night each month Grill'd closes its restaurant on William Street to help feed anyone sleeping rough.

The conversations between bites of burger are light and jovial, but the gathering puts into perspective just how great the demand for support services has become.

Something as simple as a hot meal often becomes a luxury when you are sleeping rough. But for one night a month, those doing it tough are being invited to enjoy a burger on the house.
