Hi everyone,

A few of you may have noticed there is a fire very close to us. We want everyone to be assured that we are completely safe and prepared, all of your pets are in very capable hands to deal with this.

Please refrain from messaging us about it as otherwise we'll be inundated with people to reply to.

I will list everything we prepare for these situations to put your minds at ease.

- We have an extensive clearing of any greenery from the facility.
- Gutters are completely clean and soaked down.
- There is nothing in the facility that is capable of catching fire, everything is metal or concrete.
- Fire hoses, fire trailer, bobcat and management on standby.
- Ducted air cons are turned off and all pets completely locked inside.

A fire went through our property that started just on the other side of the road a few years back and nothing was lost. Since then we've added even more fire hoses, as well as the fire trailer to our arsenal.

📢 Important Notice for Cat Owners 🐱

Dear valued customers,

We want to keep you informed about a nationwide shortage of cat vaccinations, particularly the F3 vaccination, which is currently affecting many veterinary clinics. We understand the concern this may cause for those who have bookings with us or plan to board their beloved feline friends in the coming months.

Due to the limited availability of cat vaccinations, some veterinary clinics have only a few doses left, while others have stockpiled a few. Vets are prioritizing these vaccinations for kittens and rescue cats, which means that regular house cats may face challenges in getting vaccinated.

Here's what you need to know:

🐾 If you have a boarding reservation with us between now and February and going to be due a vaccination, we recommend checking with your vet about the availability of vaccinations. It's possible that you may need to call around to different clinics to secure a vaccination appointment for your cat.

🐾 In the absence of the F3 vaccination, we also accept Titre Tests for cats. A Titre Test measures your cat's immunity against the virus that the F3 vaccine covers. If your cat passes the Titre Test, that means it already has sufficient immunity without a vaccine, then they will be considered eligible for boarding with us.

They expect that supplies of the F3 vaccination should be more readily available by February. In the meantime, please plan ahead and reach out to your vet to ensure your cat's vaccination needs are met.

They are now available to book on our booking system.

If you have a booking and would like to upgrade you can either jump onto your pet profile and edit the booking, or you are welcome to email or private message us and we can change it for you 🐈

I know this is not a usual post but I have been asked by GAWA to share this on my page. At the moment they have lots of greys looking for forever homes or foster care, some are also in kennels that they are struggling to find a foster home for.

❤️ Follow care advice as directed by our vets (if required),
❤️ Take cute photos and write an adoption bio,
❤️ Take your foster dog to adoptions events or to meet-and-greets with potential forever families.

❤️ Cover all costs including vet bills, medications, food, a coat in the cooler months, specialist training (if required) and,
