Wishing all my wonderful patients, owners and their families a happy, safe and festive Christmas and may 2024 be filled with health, happiness and prosperity! 🌟

I will be available to existing clients for urgent and life threatening emergencies over the Christmas and New Year period, except for the afternoon of the 26th until the morning of the 28th when we will be visiting family for Christmas in Perth 🤗 I will be available for phone advice during this time - just send a message with your question about your animal and I'll get back to you asap 📱

Spent a beautiful summer morning giving these sweet little Chihuahua pups their first puppy vaccination and microchip 💉

Lovely day out in Boyup Brook with my colleagues and friends from Manjimup, Kojonup and Murdoch University, as part of the vet team for the Blackwood Marathon 🏇🏻

Was a great day sharing stories of the trials and tribulations of juggling country vet life, wrangling small children and running a farm. Both being a country vet and a parent of young children can be very lonely, exhausting and isolating professions, so the importance of professional collegiality cannot be underestimated ⚕️

Anyone from Balingup want to put together a team for the marathon next year? 😃

Can everyone please keep an eye out for Butcher? His owners miss him terribly 😭

DAY 4
Please bring Butcher home
He was last seen on Monday 11.30am on the corner of goodwood Rd and Byron Rd (carbone gravel pit rd) .
We have recently found his ID tag in the sand around home. But he should still have his black collar and he is microchipped! He also has stitches after just being castrated 10 days ago.

This stunning and HUGE Clydesdale c**t had a little argument with a fence. Despite his size and young age, he was such a gentleman and the perfect patient 🥰 A credit to his breed and his owner!

A very good reminder to check whether your horses are up to date with their tetanus vaccination 💉 The tetanus vaccination schedule in horses starts at 12 weeks of age and is available without a consultation.

Tetanus vaccination is also strongly recommended and important in farm and hunting dogs. In dogs the tetanus vaccination is available after consultation with the vet 👩‍⚕️

We are taking a much needed break and will be heading off for a family holiday up north from Monday. We will return on the 30th September.

Gorgeous sunny day in Greenbushes meeting this gorgeous little brand new Shetland pony filly foal ❤️ First foal of the season!

Her dam had a retained placenta after the birth, which if left untreated, can result in serious infection and laminitis. With a little bit of help, the mare passed the placenta. Now mum and baby are doing really well 😁

Please ensure that your pets have absolutely no chance of access to mouse and rat poison, as the antidote Vitamin K is almost impossible to obtain at the moment 🙏🏻
