Lots of fun at the Ballarat mega pet cavy show!
My show team had a fun day and enjoyed all the pats and attention from the public!

I took my two whites and mum and daughter buff duo with me, plus a handful of pigs to sell…

Results:

Shuri Naughty Nigel got best junior exhibitor in show and 1st adult boar

Bumbora Spicy got ROB
Montague Butternut Squash 2nd

Bumbora Snow Mist 1st adult sow

Also picked up the adorable lil miss Galleta Cavies Barbie Princess, a silver and cream Rex who is just a bit cute!!

First show of the year at Cavy Council of Victoria (Guinea Pig Club)

My team did really well today, and it was really exciting to be back showing once again!

Miss Warrawee Luna surprised us by taking out BOB, Best Satin in Show and Best Junior Exhibitor in show.

Little miss Snowy did well today too, ROB, and decided that sleeping in the show cage sounded like much more fun compared to sitting still on the table….

Took two buff girlies (Bumbora Spicey DE & Montague Butternut Squash) mum and daughter today, and got ROB with miss Butternut at her first show.

Mr Pumba did well in his condition class and is continuing to live up to his nickname, “Pig P”

Lots of great feedback from all my piggies, especially from the youngest little girly.

Great day today at the Cavy Council of Victoria (Guinea Pig Club) Ballarat country show!

Pumba (aka big P) won large boar condition, best junior condition, and reserve condition in show! Very proud of the big man, who also placed second in the heaviest pig novelty class.!

Little miss Bumbora Cavy Stud Snowy did really well today too, BOB (best of breed), best crested in show, and best junior exhibitor, with some great feedback from the judge.

Very proud of my piggies today!

All are most welcome! 20 specialty pet classes with ribbons, certificates, prizes plus lots of information to be shared about care and welfare it will be a fantastic day. There should be cavies looking for potential new homes too! We hope to see you there!!

Entries on the day between 9.50am and 10.30am - show will start around 11am.

Spicey has just moved to her own cage now, weighing 970g. It’s hard to believe she only weighed 750g when I put her in with the boar!
