Training your dogs to use their ramp can sometimes be a difficult task, but we are here to tell you that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Step 1: Introduce The Ramp by placing the ramp in a place your dog is very comfortable with like the living room or bedroom Step 2: Create A Positive Association With The Ramp by placing your complimentary treats on it. Step 3: Start Asking For More. Give your pup a treat when they interact with the ramp using their paws. Step 4: Practice Walking Across The Ramp. Use your hand with a treat to lure your dog up and then feed them the treat once across. Step 5. Fade the food out. Since we don't want your dog to become over-dependent on the sight of the treat, start fading the food lure. And there you go!
