We first opened for business in 2015 and we have since grown into one most well-regarded salons in the city! With an animal-mad team headed by our lead groomer of 12 years experience, we offer grooming services to most dogs, and nail clips on cats, dogs, and small animals. ❗Fully booked for the rest of the year❗

This is a bit hard to write since I know so many people will be disappointed!

Firstly, our amazing temp groomer Liv will be leaving in early October to embark on her next big adventure overseas. We’ve loved having her with us, and we wish her all the best on her journey.

Then we are closed for the second half of October, as we take a well-deserved holiday.

And then Ellie, who many of you know and love, is leaving us to pursue a new career in mental health care. While we're sad to see her go, we’re so proud of her decision to follow her passion and wish her all the success in the world.

With these changes, we suddenly find ourselves fully booked for the rest of the year. As much as I would love to be able to accommodate everyone, we will be down to just myself and Kirsty and we don't have enough hands for all our client base 😅

My best solution so far is to add clients to a cancellation list for bookings so please let us know if you'd like to be placed on it, and when your preferred date is. Please note, we are still only accepting current clients.

I'll update again if this changes anytime soon!

Marlie had a spa day for her 11th birthday yesterday! Her mum says this means she's been coming to see us for 11 years which is crazy to think of!

Long story short: Katie here, I'm opening up some extra grooming hours for current clients over the next few days 🥰

I'll be working later tomorrow (Saturday) and some days next week, and I'll be taking some appointments for Monday as well. Please shoot me a message to book as I couldn't figure out how to make them available to book online 😂

The longer version:
I wanted to share some news about my cat, Olaf. Some of you may be aware that over the past week he's been having some pretty bad complications from his chronic urinary issues and yesterday had to have a critical surgery. Olaf means the world to me, and whilst I'm glad he's doing well so far, his surgery and subsequent recovery are racking up some big bills 😩 So whilst he's still in hospital, I'm going to be opening up some extra timeslots for grooming to help with this.

It's been an incredibly stressful week, but the support that all of you have shown to my business means so much to me, and I'm incredibly thankful to be able to have a job that allows me the flexibility to change my working hours on short notice to help cover emergency costs like this 🥹

Thanks so much for your kindness and support—it means the world to me, Olaf, and his brother Delvin.

Just wanted to share a quick update! We are currently booked out two months in advanve and due to this overwhelming demand, we've decided to hit the pause button on accepting new clients for a little while.

Why? Because we want to make sure our loyal regulars, like you, continue to receive the top-notch service and attention they deserve.

For all our existing clients, and new clients who currently have a booking, rest assured that nothing changes for you. Your furry friends will still get the same love and care they've always received from us.

We loooove a gorgeous purebred dog and a chance to flex our dog knowledge chops! This is Alby the English Springer Spaniel.

A breed that dates back to 19th century England, they were bred for flushing and retrieving game birds. They were originally considered Cocker Spaniels but they later diverged due to variations in size. Their name comes from their hunting style as they "spring" at game to flush them out.

Grass seeds are horrible this time of year! When the weather warms up, the grass dries out and seeds are found everywhere. This is what they look like, and they have tiny reverse barbs on them. This is supposed to help them 'self plant' into dirt, but unfortunately means they also burrow into skin :(

If you see these on your dog, particularly between their toes, make sure to pull it out and check for more as they can cause some pretty nasty wounds. Try not to feel bad if you miss them though - this one is huge but normally they are about half the size and so easily missed.

Last week of work before our Christmas break! We are going to be super busy but we are looking forward to pampering some pups and eating nothing but chocolate for five days straight as is tradition for us this time of year! 😂🥰

FREE HAIRCUT

Looking for:
🐾 A small Poodle/Oodle with curly coat longer than 1 inch
🐾 A small Maltese, Shih, etc with straight coat longer than 1 inch

Looking for two hairy, relatively well behaved models to take from fluffy to very short 🥰
I'd like to make a video demonstrating different haircut lengths and how they look on different coat types, so you must be okay with me taking them down very short, such as in the photo (not our work, just a good example).

Comment below with a recent pic of your pup if you're interested and I will select the ones I think will be the best visual examples 🥰

We love having uncommon breeds in the salon! Jasper here is a Schipperke (pronounced skip-per-key). They are a Belgian breed that were popular as barge dogs. In fact, that's how they earned their name, as Skipperke means 'little captain" in Flemish 😍

I'm a bit devestated that the photo was blurry and I didn't notice until later! 😂
