🥇🥇🥇 What a day at the office for team MF Racing!

🔥 Winning the first three races on the card today at Kerang, three wins from five runners.

🐴🥇 Baltic Way led the charge in race 1 over 1800 metres, collecting the stables first win for the day when breaking his maiden ridden by Jake Duffy. The son of So You Think finished a length and a quarter clear of the field.

🐴🥇Seattle Hope has been ever consistent placing second her last four starts, to see her find the line in front today in race 2 with dominant fashion was extremely pleasing to see. Jake Duffy combined with the stable once again for another win.

🐴🥇Seacryption added a second career win ridden by Madison Lloyd in the BM0-58 over 1400 metres. The duo settled into a nice rhythm at the tail of the field, approaching the 400 metre mark upon turning into the home straight Seacryption began her run for home. Galloping around the field to find the middle of the track, a well-timed ride by Madison Lloyd to take out race 3.

Jennyanydots was slow away at Caulfield over 1000 metres, but a patient winning steer by Ethan Brown saw the duo cross the line leading the field by three-quarters of a length.

With only four race starts to date, we’re very excited to see what’s in store for this daughter of Magnus.

Ballarat-based trainer Mitch Freedman Racing has headed to Perth to put the finishing touches on his G1 winner Attrition (Churchill) ahead of a mission for a second elite-level win in the Northerly Stakes (Gr 1, 1800m) at Ascot on Saturday.

The son of Churchill (Galileo), who won the Hill Stakes (Gr 2, 1900m) at Rosehill in October, was last seen finishing fourth at that track behind Pericles (Street Boss) in the Five Diamonds (Listed, 1800m) last month.

"He's settled in really well," Freedman said. "He just seems to have thrived on travel the whole prep. He's done a few trips now, but it doesn't seem to have affected him."

Attrition will have his final gallop on Tuesday, having had a 1000-metre trial at Belmont last week.

"It was a fast horse's jump-out and he was actually very good, albeit beaten a few lengths by what some people would consider below his standard," Freedman said of his trial effort, where Attrition finished fourth of four.

"He is looking for 1800 or 2000 metres. He has got the freshness out of his legs, but his sectionals were very good and the way he came through it, it was the right thing to do." Beau Mertens, who partnered Attrition to victory in the Toorak Handicap (Gr 1, 1600m) at Caulfield last year and in the Hill Stakes, will ride again on Saturday.
