Meet Millie
Millie was in recently for MPL surgery (Medial Patella Luxation) with Dr Chris.
MPL surgery aims to stabilise the patella in it’s correct position so it no longer pops in and out sporadically causing discomfort.
Millie was so brave during her stay, showing us she had no fear with many tail wags, face licks and cuddles with nurses Courtney and Emily.
Being a day procedure, Millie was discharged later that afternoon with strict post operative instructions. REST, REST and MORE REST.
Update: Millie is calm and recovering well at home. Her first post operative examination with Dr Julie confirmed the stifle to be stable, pain well managed and no signs of swelling and or infection. Millie is one happy girl!
