After what seems like a very very long time to find that place where we can thrive as a business and start training our horses to the best of our ability, we have finally secured the perfect place where we believe we can get this done.

As of this weekend we make the move to Shangri La in Banjup, a property that has seen many winners from some of WA's best trainers. The property boasts a 12 horse Avalon Barn, 8 Horse walker, a sand track that is approximately 950m around and day paddocks.

Over the coming weeks we will start offering a few spots for pre training and let ups for horses that may just need a change of scenery.
Paddocks are in the process of being fully refenced. Once this is complete toward the end of March we will be offering limited spots for Spelling also.

Heilung makes her racing debut today at Bunbury. She has performed well in her only trial and shown pleasing improvement. Jess Valas will ride from barrier 6. Good luck to Chris.

We are looking for partners to join us in racing this yearling filly by Rommel from Mogumber Park Stud.
This Filly descends from one of WA’s best fillies in Paklani who had 8 wins which 5 of those were as a 2yo.
Rommel was a Group winner in both Melbourne (Group 3 Zedative Stakes) and Perth (WA Guineas) and has produced many winners in WA and in Hong Kong.
She has been in the stables for a week or so now and will continue with some education before heading off to be broken in.

We head to Ascot with 2 runners today. Catalpa (bottom) goes around in race 4 over 1000m. Has drawn a good gate and with Jarrad Noske aboard we will be going forward and hope to hang on.
Karalee Rocks is having her first start for the stable in the Jungle Mist Classic. Has an awkward gate to contend with but with Jordan Turner aboard she should be getting back and hitting the line hard.

Our Safeguard x Magic and Danger Filly came back from her spell today looking a Million Dollars.
Huge thanks to Fiona and Collin and the team at Mogumber Park for doing an amazing job in looking after our girl.
We couldn’t be more impressed with how she looks.

We’re looking forward to watching her half brother Horcrux race in the Belgravia on Saturday at Ascot. Good luck to his connections.

Lead By Example heads to Belmont this afternoon. Race 6 and will be ridden by apprentice Chanel Cooper. Bobbie is in form and expect another good showing today from a tricky gate.
