Hey everyone!
We still have some spots available for this clinic as a few people have had to swap to another date!

Greg and I are really looking forward to this clinic at the gunning show ground as it is also a wonderful venue! Easy to access and lots of room! Yards available for horses and a whole campdraft arena to play in as well as the ‘camp’ which we use as a round yard.

This clinic is suitable for all horses and rider levels as well as all disciplines.

Bump to the fence
Saddle prep
Safety under saddle
Ridden exercises
Horses can also continue work on the ground if not able to be ridden.

Horsemanship clinic -
Greg may touch on round yard work, putting each horse through a routine of “don’t change gait, don’t change direction” and lock on. These are great techniques which can also be transferred to on line ground work. This is also a great opportunity for you to speak to Greg about what is going on for you and your horse and what you may like support with.
Moving on to ground work. Working on softness, suppleness, respect on the ground through different exercises.
These exercises support a safe ground relationship with your horse. Everything we work on the ground will also be improving your horse’s behavior there for giving you a better ride as well.
We will do the bump to the fence exercise. This will help your horse be willing to look for the right answers and help participants know when to ask and when to release showing your horse what you are wanting in a very clear way.
We will also work on safety under saddle. We go through different exercises as a group. If you are not confident to ride or Greg does not feel the horse is ready to ride in the group setting you will be given other ground exercises to work on.
This clinic will help with a wide range of issues you may have with your horse or just to better your relationship with your horse or reintroduce you and your horse back into work.
Every clinic is slightly different from the next so it is hard to touch on everything. If you have a specific thing you would like to work on please let me know and I can speak about that more with you.

Selling my saddle as I have retired my old boy (☹️) too good to be sitting in the shed!

One owner, I bought it only a few years ago has always been well oiled and stored on a rack. Super comfortable saddle for horse and human!

JUNE 22nd and 23rd!
Greg is having a clinic at fairy meadow park near Bungendore!
We are looking forward to being at Debbie’s place again under her lovely covered arena.

There are still a few spots available for this clinic.
Suited to all disciplines and levels. There is a riding component at these clinics however you are able to continue with ground work throughout the entire clinic if that’s more suitable to you and your horse.

Greg will go through ground school exercises on line and at liberty in the round yard. Touching on things such as, Building a strong connection with your horse, don’t change gate don’t change direction, focusing on how our own energy affects our horses. Matched with some breath work! Showing you how the ground work transitions to ridden work. Safety while saddling and under saddle and will take you through ridden exercises as well. This is just to name a few! All clinics are tailored to the participants that attend.

This clinic will help you with a wide range of things from bettering your relationship with your horse right through to trouble shooting problems you may be facing and needing support to work though.

EOI June - 22nd - 23rd

Greg and I have a weekend free to run something! I am interested to hear what you’d like to see!

Demonstration day-
We have lots of young horses!
This would close contact day where you can watch Greg and I with our main horses and also our young horses! You would be able to ask questions in the moment while everything is happening and possibly get a few people involved in the work too!
We have our main going horses like Bermudo who Greg will demonstrate some high level training. Jess will show Eldo who is in his very early stages of riding! Lots to show.

Then our young horses include:

Williow- 4 yo Arab/stockhorse who has had minimal handling and is just ready for starting. You can be apart of her journey with Greg right from the beginning! She is a sensitive girl and it will be interesting to see how Greg breaks her in from such a clean slate! (We may do monthly demo days if people would like to see the whole process come together)

Lightning - 4 yo pony (of some sort maybe welsh or Arab riding pony) he will be my daughters pony!
He has done some basic ground work but has pretty much been left along to grow. He is ready for his first saddling which you could see!

Moonshine - will be 2 in November he is my partner horse has done some ground work with his breeder (the amazing ti tree curly horses) since being with us he has done little bits but again has been mainly left to grow. This guy is such a dude! He will start some round yard work and begin some liberty training!

Peaches - 8 months old my little one! She has only just started doing some leading. We will show lots of beginning handling and training with her!

Demo days will be $100 come along and learn from Greg ask questions of what training techniques you’re seeing or questions about your own horses and ways of helping them! Lunch will be included as well as a few fire drums to keep us warm!

The possibilities are endless!

Or we could run a close contact clinic taking max 6 people.

These would be run at our place in Bannister.

I just released I never did a post about this clinic! I can’t believe I didn’t because wow it was an amazing clinic. Huge thank you to everyone who came along to this clinic it really was incredible.
We are super keen for our next clinic at gunning show ground it worked so well!

We are super excited for the clinic tomorrow!
Some info for anyone wanting to fence sit!
Gunning show ground at the arena.
We are aiming to start around 8:30
If we’re not in the arena we will be in the little shed having a chat and a coffee!
Please bring $50 on the day (per day (I do have eft if needed)
We are pretty flexible with fence sitting come whenever you can and leave when you’d like 👍🏻

I’ll also have Eldorado Horsemanship Ropes available for purchase! 🙂💙

Hey guys!

Excited to announce Greg and I are looking into running a few clinics at local show grounds!
The first most likely being Crookwell or Gunning show ground.
