On Wednesday we were contacted by a lovely couple who had rescued this gorgeous gentle giant from the side of the road. It seems that some heartless person had left him on the side of the road, where he remained waiting patiently curled in a ball for them to come back and get him. He is SUPER affectionate, he loves being cuddled, held, and given attention from anyone willing to provide it. He is easy going, laid back, unbothered by loud kids and other cats. This guy is stunning inside AND out.
Once he is desexed and has necessary vet checks, he’ll then be on the look out for a home that will NEVER abandon him again.

Massive thank you to the humans who found him - never again will he be thrown away like garbage 🖤

Due to increases in paperwork handling, we will now be using the updated online petregistry website to complete transfers.
For those yet to have been sent any form of change of ownership information, ensure you have a pet registry profile. Check your emails and follow the prompts to have your new family member transferred from our name, to your name.
For future adoptions, this process will now be done when you pick your Little Bean up to avoid backlog.

Bryn & Briar 🖤
Two of our surviving babies, almost ready for adoption.
Bryn thinks she’s a meerkat, her purr is SUPER loud but she’s still learning to trust humans. Briar is extremely playful, timid, but very playful, she loves dogs and other cats, a social butterfly. We have no doubt with one on one patience both these babies will be love-bugs.

💔 While majority of our posts are happy ones, we can sometimes forget the reality of rescue, in all forms. So let’s get real for a minute.
Today has been awful, while checking on my 4 rescued babies saved from a crate on the highway, I discovered two had died. One minute they were okay, and then they were gone.
I scooped up the last two kittens, who seemed to be going downhill too, however with some TLC, they are slowly coming good again.
It’s impossible to not feel guilty, to not overthink and wonder what I had done wrong or could have done better. Every single kitten I lose is as heartbreaking as the last and the next.
This isn’t easy, it’s HARD.
Please stop dumping them, please get them desexed, please do better so I don’t have to pick up the pieces of your irresponsible choices.

On the weekend we were contacted about a very skinny mumma cat with her two babies living on the street. Thankfully a lovely woman caring for them was able to bring them into care today.

Meet Emerson and her 2 sons, Emmett & Elias. Emerson is a gentle and lovely mumma cat, who also instantly took on the role of surrogate, taking on Elodie as her own. Adding to the ‘aw’ of the story, Emerson and Elodie look almost identical, talk about meant to be! 🤍
