🐾 As Easter approaches, let's keep our furry friends safe! 🐰🍫 Remember, chocolate can be harmful to pets if ingested. Keep those sweet treats out of reach and if an accident happens, contact your vet immediately, provide as much information as you can on how much they have eaten, when they ate it and the type of chocolate consumed. 🩺👩‍⚕️

🚨Signs of chocolate poisoning include:
•Vomiting
•Diarrhoea
•Restlessness
•Increased urination
•Tremors
•Elevated or abnormal heart rate
•Seizures

Based on your dog’s size and the amount and type of chocolate consumed, your vet may recommend that you monitor your dog for the clinical signs listed above and call back if their condition worsens.

Note that if your vet is not open, some services provide live chat and video options to connect you with a vet online.

Hello wonderful pet parents and animal enthusiasts! 🐾 I'm Rory, and I'm absolutely thrilled to finally officially introduce myself as the proud owner of Rory O’Dowd Learey Pet sitting. As a dedicated pet lover with a passion for creating a positive and loving environment for our furry, feathery, and scaly friends, I'm committed to providing top-notch care for your beloved companions.

A little bit about me:
1. My goal: I am currently completing my Cert IV in veterinary nursing at Melbourne polytechnic and have over a year of experience working at The Murray street vet clinic, My goal is to achieve the highest education I can and go on to work with exotics and zoo animals. 🐆
2. My passions: If you can’t already tell my number one passion is all things animal! Animals have been my favourite thing in the whole world since I can remember! But I also have a passion for musical theatre and you may have already seen me on the COPACC stage. 💃🏽
3. My pets: At my house its a bit of a zoo (in the best way possible) I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 cows, 4 chickens, 2 birds and a bearded dragon. Each one holds a special place in my heart, and I understand the unique needs and quirks that come with all different species.🩷

🌸POPPY🌸
It was such a delight to have sweet “Poppy” boarding with us again recently, “Poppy” was our first ever client when she was only a little pup, I have loved seeing how much she has grown and if you can’t tell Harlow was SUPER excited to have her friend back for another play date🐾🥰🐶(the last two photos are from "poppy's" first stay, How adorable!🥹)
