Thousands of bubbles and decorations in store as you make your way through the park!🍭🍬 As well at holding a costume contest after our Animal Show at 11:30 to receive a lucky prize from our gift shop! It's the perfect opportunity to have a safe area during Halloween for the young ones of Batemans Bay 😊

Wildlife
While doing a round this afternoon we noticed this little one on the hunt for worms. How neat is that! We watch quietly until this blue tongue made its way back into the bushes. It's definitely not an uncommon sight to see some pretty amazing Australian wildlife on our grounds!

World Wombat Day

We're hustling and bustling getting everything ready for our Kanga-Boo Year #2 Halloween Event 🦘 We cannot wait to see all of the children's costumes and remember they'll be a contest for best dressed after the morning animal show!

Milo the Wallaby
Milo here is such a handsome man 🥰 Super friendly and doesn't mind a gentle pat. You can find him normally across from the pheasants, but it's easy to miss him at times. His acre large enclosure gives him, the other Swamp Wallabies and one of our Emu girls lots of space to roam around in!
TIMBERRRRR! 🪚
An impressive eyesore has been removed from the park. So, I deemed it best for another Birdland update of everything going on these days now that we've been able to get some work done.
This old birds of paradise has been here for years and last week we removed the 3 largest of the bunch. Leaving a small grouping of it that will definitely be easier to maintain. We are also pinpointing other trees and removing them that could be hazards during future storms and removing them. Preventative maintenance at its finest!
Mulching aviaries is a never ending task it seems these days, but we must keep on keeping on! A new TAFE volunteer has been redesigning the layout of quite a few of them and has been doing an amazing job.
Onto the gardens. Yes, we know we are behind and Robyn is working hard to trim them back as all the rain everywhere has gotten is making it difficult for everyone. Though, the deer and alpaca are definitely not complaining with the abundance of browse they get on a daily basis and munch it down with gusto!
Robyn got a gorgeous new bird bath not too far away from the BBQ area and is planning on revamping that area completely to make a perfect environment for all the small wild native birds that call our grounds home.
The kiosks kitchen vinyl has been torn out due to the flooding and James our maintenance man/carpenter has been fixing up the benches one by one!

11 baby guinea keets are doing so well and growing fast! These little ones and their many guardians free roam our 8 acres each and every day 😊
