Today we say goodbye to an incredible veterinarian, colleague, and friend. 💙🐾
Dr. Georgie has been such a wonderful part of our clinic, so kind, caring, compassionate, and endlessly dedicated to every animal who walked through our doors. Her gentle heart and steady presence have touched countless pets and families, and we are so grateful for the time we’ve had with her.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re excited for the new chapter ahead of her. She will be deeply missed by our team, our clients, and of course, all the furry friends who adored her.

Thank you, Dr Georgie for everything you’ve brought to our clinic. We wish you all the success and happiness in the world. 💛🐶🐱

We were handed in a lovely young male, undesexed ginger and white cat yesterday. He was found on Greville St in Kelso and brought into the clinic with a large wound on the back of his neck. He is currently receiving treatment in hospital. We need your help to find the owner as he doesn’t have a microchip.

🐍 It’s that time of year again 🐍

We have already seen a number of snakebites at the clinic. This is a reminder to be vigilant with your furry friends!

If you suspect your dog or cat has been bitten by a snake, call the clinic straight away to make a plan. More often than not the best thing to do is to come straight in and let us know you are on your way so we can be prepared - no matter the severity of symptoms!

Symptoms to watch out for include vomiting, excessive salivation, wobbly legs, collapse and dilated pupils.

We just wanted to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for the incredible work the Cat Protection Society does for cats in need. Your dedication, compassion, and tireless efforts to rescue, care for, and rehome cats make a real difference — not only in their lives, but in the lives of those who are lucky enough to adopt them.

Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless, and for creating a safer, kinder world for our feline friends. Your work is truly inspiring.
