🐾🌏 Happy World Veterinary Day! 🩺🐾
(slightly belated!)

Stewart Street Vets is proud of our incredibly dedicated and hard working team of vets, who work day and night to care for the animals of Bathurst and surrounds.

The theme of this year's World Veterinary Day is 'Animal Health Takes a Team' and this could not be more true for us- thank you to our equally wonderful and hard working nurses, receptionists, kennel hands, wildlife carers and the wider community who dedicate their lives to helping animals. 💙

In commemoration of Anzac Day, we honour those who served & those in service today. We honour and respect the fallen men, women and animals that have served our country.

Hope to see you all there!!

Hope to see you all there!!

For 30 years, amazing superheroes and their loyal pooches have come together for Million Paws Walk – the walk to fight animal cruelty. We have some news we want to share with you.

We have made the difficult decision to hang up Million Paws Walk’s leash for the final time, with May 2025 being our final national event.

Sadly, with rising event costs after the pandemic and the financial strain on animal lovers, hosting events like Million Paws Walk has become increasingly difficult. Unfortunately, these challenges have proven that Million Paws Walk is no longer the most effective way to raise money to help the animals in our care.

Each person (and pup) that has ever participated has helped to make an amazing difference for animals in need across Australia. Since 1994, over 768,000 people and 410,000 dogs have walked alongside us, raising an incredible $17 million to support RSPCA’s work to protect and care for animals. Our Million Paws Walk community has been an incredible part of this journey, and we’d love for you to be part of the final event - we have to send it off in style!

Grab your family, your friends, your pooches and your leads - and join us for the final time, at Million Paws Walk - One Last Lap! 60% off tickets, on sale now: https://www.millionpawswalk.com.au/find-a-walk

If it’s time to clean out the cupboards, BARC would really love any donations of towels, sheets or blankets to help keep our furry friends comfortable this winter. Stewart Street Vets are happy to accept any donations and will pass them on to BARC.
