medications and 19/12/24 for all other medications and special order foods.

Are you a passionate and empathetic veterinarian looking for a clinic that prides itself on prioritising a work/ life balance, having a family-like team that supports one and other, and that offers a high standard of patient and client care? Then Bathurst Central Animal Hospital is that place!

We are currently looking for a veterinarian of any experience level - we are more than happy to help support you as much or as little as you may need at this stage of your career.
New graduates also encouraged to apply!

We are so lucky to have an amazing team of experienced, dedicated nurses who pride themselves in having high technical skills to help support their team. You will also work alongside vets who are happy to have their brains picked and that you can share cases with.
Our vets generally work 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday with no after hours or weekends. Days are made up with a mixture of consulting and surgeries.

Our clinic is Made up of a constant flow of never ending snacks, paired with an almost dark sense of humour and bad singing around all areas of the clinic, meaning that a day will never go by where you don’t laugh at something ridiculous. But then on the technical side we have full in-house idexx blood and urinalysis machines, dental X-rays and a new vet scan imagist for all your diagnosis desires! This job includes yearly paid study leave and workshops are also available.
You will also have access to a fitness passport for all the down time you will be able to have.

Did you know if your pet has an interaction with a snake and the snake is still there, I will come at NO charge and remove the snake for you, dead or alive.
A dead snake can still envenomate so be mindful and watch for signs of a bite to your babies.
Should there be an interaction, call the vet ahead and call me ♥️🐶🐱

We are wishing our nurse Tara a huge happy birthday for tomorrow.
With a wickedly questionable dark/funny sense of humour which can always make someone laugh when it’s truly needed and her ability to push to achieve new goals not only in our team but also in the local RFS and SES making for a true asset to all crews she is involved apart of!
