Bear-Cats & Co. is a small business located in the Hunter Valley, NSW, specialising in handmade, eco-friendly pet accessories for both cats and dogs with a focus on producing beautiful, durable and high quality accessories that are eco-friendly without the high price tag.

Here at Bear-Cats & Co. we believe in a sustainable future and are committed to reducing waste so not only can we enjoy this wonderful world we live in with our family, friends and pets, but our future generations can too

Our aim is for every product to be as close to 100% eco-friendly as possible if not 100% by way of recycling hardware, repurposing clothing and using recycled fibre fill, just to name a few.

3 months ago our small family of 4 grew to 5!

This beautiful little girl chose us to be her fur-ever family and adopted us.
We made her a promise to be her fur-ever home, to love her, care for her and give her the best life possible.

We're not too sure what breed she is, we were told mastiff x .... Cross with what we don't know, what do you all think?

By the way she has grown in the last the last 3 months, I'm thinking possibly Dane or Ridgeback????  ..... her legs go on for miles! lol
Either way I don't care, she's the apple of my eye & I can't imagine life without her.

Miss Sassy has filled every day of our lives for the last 3 months with so much joy but the way she's going at the moment, she's going be the death of me!

She's a smart little cookie, an annoying little sister, a snuggly big-little dog & she most definitely lives up to her name!

I would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Sassy's foster carer & ,
with your help you've filled a small void in my heart that I didn't even know existed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

That’s right, you read correctly! When Bear-Cats & Co. officially open, $5 from every purchase will be donated to a local animal shelter/rescue group!

I have always admired & respected all the animal shelters/rescue groups for the endless love & support the volunteers provide to all the animals in need.

Until recently, I never realised just how much time is spent by the volunteers running around. Be it rescuing animals,  taking them to the vet, training, yard inspections, follow ups & paperwork just to name a few. It's an endless job & a costly one that they all do in their own time with no financial assistance other than donations from the public.

Which is why, with your help, a small amount will be donated every 6 months (to begin with) to a chosen organisation.

The chosen organisation will be nominated & decided on by you, the donators 😁

Hey there 👋 Jess here, the face behind Bear-Cats & Co. just thought I’d drop by to give a shout out to all our followers & to give thanks to you all for your love & support, we truly appreciate it 😘 I also wanted to introduce myself properly.

🦮I am the proud mumma of 4 fur babies: Bear, Sassy, Lil-Cat & Big-Cat (the inspiration behind the business name).
🐈 I live in New South Wales, Australia with my loving, understanding & very patient husband Jason, he’s the one I bounce all my business ideas off & believe me there are a lot! …. poor bugger😂
🐓I work fulltime as a Business & Finance Manager
🐩 When I’m not at my real-life job you can find me locked away in Bear-Cats & Co. HQ
🐖 When I’m doing neither of the above you will always find me chilling with my husband & my babies 😻

So yeah …. that’s pretty much me in a nutshell 😉

Oh, I'm also a huge animal lover …. like …. huuuge 🐘
