80 pics of dog life lately ππ₯°β¨
What a wonderful day marrying my best friend, who was never really a dog person but is now locked in for life with me π also a special mention to our Celebrant, Fran who was a past client of mine π₯°
Batman is looking forward to joining group walks and meeting new friends... just kidding π Iβm not sure there is a gap in the market for cat walking just yet.
πΎ IMPORTANT π There Fur You will not be taking on any NEW clients until next year 2023.

Melbourne really has had a hard and fast approach to the first few weeks of winter. I have never washed so many dirty and soggy towels π
I try my best to stay away from parks that turn into muddy bogs but sometimes we can't avoid it. I hope everyone knows I do my best at wiping down and towelling off the dogs before sending them home to jump all over the beds/couches/carpets ππ§οΈβοΈ
Now for more important topics... Gumboots that will keep my feet dry AND warm?!
Just giving myself a small reminder as to why I stopped uploading regular "photo dump" posts π sifted through roughly 100 photos to pick these 50 of today's antics. Everyone was very ENERGETIC π€ͺ
June 8 2022 marked one whole year since my hip/pelvis surgery. I am not entirely sure where 365 days disappeared to, but I can certainly recall a whole lot of difficult moments in this past year of recovery. I'm still not sure if I'm 100% "better" (or if I'll ever be) but at least my hip and socket are now in the correct alignment.
We just got back from a little camping weekend where Disco the Dalmatian was lucky enough to tag along. This was Chippy's first camping trip ποΈπ unfortunately high winds the second night were a little unsettling for us all and we ended up coming home early. But we look forward to another doggy friendly camping trip again in the near future π
About a month ago we sent off Chippy's DNA to find out what breeds he was. We always thought he was mainly border collie possibly crossed with some kelpie. The rescue group thought he was heeler x staffy. Some of you know his results already but for those who don't, take a guess! The closest guess (two main breeds) will win a bag of treats and a toy πΎπ
10 months post hip athroscope and periacetabular osteotomy, the screws that were holding my pelvis in place came out today! Feeling pretty woozy from the anasthetic but hoping this coupled with a cortisone injection into the psoas will offer some relief from the lingering pain I was still experiencing βΊοΈ hoping to be back to walks from Monday π€
We are wishing a very happy and wonderful wedding day to Hector's owners β€οΈ Hector is having his own little getaway while his mum and dad celebrate π°π
My heart breaks over what is happening in Ukraine. I will never understand war and especially those who instigate it. To see families being torn apart or having to flee their homes and country with their pets is so devastating. Even after what we have endured in Victoria with harsh lockdowns these past two years is nothing compared to this. π
A pleasure to have these two on board for walks the past two weeks. See you again at the end of the month, Harvey and Pepe π
We had a lovely week with Archie staying. He was such a sweet boy - Chippy was exhausted after all the constantly play/wrestling. β€οΈ Two months ago he was only half the size and this time he was giving Chippy some competition π

We had a wonderful night on Tuesday taking a night tour of the Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale. We were part of a small group and were taken through the grounds on a private tour, getting up and personal with some Australian nocturnal animals. A special and unique experience right on our doorstep β€οΈ definitely recommend it if it's something you have been considering.
One in and one out. We have a revolving door lately it seems. Ike the ridgeback went home late last week after his 17 day stay and this is Maggie the koolie pup, our newest house guest π
Chippy and his mini-me (Oscar) are having a slumber party and it's a very colourful atmosphere despite all the black and white π€
Seeing in the new year with Bilko, Ike and Chippy ππ a real party atmosphere here π
We have special guest Ike the ridgeback staying with us and he is always a much loved addition to the household π
A cool morning dip is the best way to get energized for the day ahead... according to Fire Quacker... definitely not me π π΄π
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a lovely day with special guest Eliza β£οΈ
Hello world. It has been 6 months since my last update. It was just after I had returned home from hospital post hip surgery. Most of you will know that I am back walking dogs. After the latest never-ending lockdown I returned to my business (after much deliberation!) with some big changes. I sadly said goodbye to my clients in Bayside so I could stay close to home and I dropped my hours down to 4 days per week. These changes were necessary after mentally and physically burning myself out time and time again over the past 8 years. Running a dog walking business is not just demanding on the body but also on the mind! There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that many don't realise. It took numerous forced closures and a newly shaped pelvis to push me into finally making these changes.
I know that I haven't been very active on this page but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who continues to support me. Not just my current clients but everyone who has used my services since I started out in 2014.
Another big thank you goes out to my wonderful and generous parents who helped keep some of my business ticking over while I was recovering. This took a huge weight off my mind and I will be eternally grateful for their assistance. The dogs still get super excited to see them whenever they join me at the park to say hi! β€οΈ
Now that you all know where I am at, I will attempt to post a little more frequently on here with our usual adventures and antics.
Sending lots of love to everyone... we all need it after another turbulent year. I've got my fingers and toes crossed for a better 2022. π

Nearly one week since the big operation. Feeling pretty worse for wear. Got home from hospital yesterday and haven't moved from bed. Thankful I have these guys sharing their love and healing energy.
