It’s well and truely fly season here now and the flies have been a nightmare so far! Thanks to Wild Horse Australia for these fantastic fly veils that are easy to put on, stay on and give the horses plenty of eye clearance with their 3 dart system and no heat, easy to see through mesh.

Loving these warm sunny days! The TBs are loving having more nakey time now and some sun on their backs!(some mud soon also I’m sure!!)They are all glowing! ❤️❤️🐎🐎

Very excited to have the amazing Stable Comfort Premium installed into our barn. We will be able to provide the most comfortable experience possible for the horses in our care if they are needing to be stabled for any reason. Massive shout out to Scott from https://www.facebook.com/StablecomfortANZ for the fantastic customer service and advice during the install which we did ourselves.
If you are planning a new barn I highly recommend this seamless floor to wall waterproof system that feels incredible to walk on!

Rousseau Farms Pty Ltd is currently offering a long term lease of the training facility only on our private, quiet and well maintained spelling property in Bayles, Victoria 12minutes from the Pakenham Racecourse.

The facilities included are:

* Wash bays
* 3 x under cover tie ups
* 8 horse electric walker
* New polybelt lined round yard with Suregrip Sand mixed with premium level of Treadlite surface.
* Large stable complex with 10 Stables all with Auto water.
* Large tack/feed room
* Washing Machine
* Undercover sawdust storage
* Hay storage
* We will also include use of 3-4 x 1/2 acre paddocks with equine safe fencing resown in autumn 2023 with a premium equine mix
* 9 outdoor yards of varying sizes.
* Toilet facility to come.

This facility would be ideal for a breaker/pre-trainer living local to the area looking for a space to run their business from long term.

The 9 acres we have resown with Notmans premium equine seed blend is looking amazing! We hope to have all the pastures on the property renovated with this mix within the next year or so! No grazing by the horses unfortunately until late spring so that the grass is well established but it will be topped for silage early spring!

Thanks again to Andrew and his team from Nedz Shedz on another lovely paddock shelter! 2 more shelters still to put into the remaining 2 single private paddocks and then we will start working on getting shelters into the remaining 6 double paddocks! Slowly but surely we keep working on property improvements! A beautiful sunny day here just as well as we had our Pure Italian Rye pastures cut last night and hope to have it baled and in the shed within the next day or 2! ❤

With great excitement we welcomed a beautiful filly foal that was born in the early hours on Thursday morning from our Friesian mare that arrived in Australia from Holland in December. This is the first foal by the incredible Jehannes 484 here in Australia. We look forward to this precious filly one day becoming an integral part of our future Friesian program.
