Well that’s it for the 2023/24 Racing Season, a huge thank you goes out to all our team here at JMD Racing. Whilst we are still a small boutique stable with no more than 15 horses in work at any one time. I am very proud to have had by far our best season yet, producing 10.8% winners and 37.5% running in the top 3.

The catch took out the open 1350 at Ipswich today under a masterful steer from Rikki Jamieson. After 2 years of being out of the winners stall he finds it at just his 2nd run for the stable. Stable hand position based at Beaudesert with JMD Racing!

A position has recently become available for a highly motivated horse person. No need to get up super early! We start at 5am depending on the time of year and finish at 9.30am. Afternoon shifts can be discussed.

You have the opportunity to pick up raceday straps for the stable to bump up your income! If you happen to have riding experience we can give you the opportunity to get in the saddle, although we don’t need you too with a senior jockey and an apprentice attached to the stable.

You will work with lovely horses that are well trained in a relaxed environment. We are a small stable with 8-15 horses in work at any one time and our main focus is on providing first class care and management of our equine athletes.

This position is for immediate start and you will have or be willing to obtain a current stable hand license with Racing QLD.
