My mother and i have been working hard the past 4 months and have some really healthy hedge drought fodder plants available $2 each located Trawalla vic 3373 but am willing to deliver local or ballarat region.

Very limited stock atm but more on the go as constant daily frosts 5 days in a row frozen leaves as late as 9am each morning caused me to have to start over.

As photos is what I have around 700 seedlings at a guess.

Been a while since I posted anything sorry about that the grow of my Lucerne trees has been slow and difficult due to multiple days of heavy frost I lost 95% of the seedlings and had to start over.

For those waiting they are coming along now and I'm hoping to sell some as Xmas gifts keep an eye out for my sales listing on marketplace and gumtree.

I'll have maybe 4000 to sell at $2 each bare rooted and $20 P&H as sent express or can be collected from Beaufort Victoria 3373

Hello all it’s that time again where I support Australian people and their animals as much as I possibly can through growing and selling drought tolerant legumes tagasaste Lucerne trees.

I’d like to post out in bulk if possible so pre paid orders appreciated I’ve built a great reputation over the past 8 years selling and pre paid orders come with priority send off and a 10% extra seedlings bonus for orders 10 or more as your helping me grow them out and of cause a %100 money back if anything was to happen to the seedlings prior to postage.

I’m vision impaired so postage will only be on a Monday my shopping day in town as I cannot drive.

Your future is my number one concern as farmers around here and myself believe dry times are very near so I’ve grown a large number of trees and keeping my price low even in high inflation times.

A possible life long safe for anything to eat including humans this fodder tree is a huge asset to any property.

The farmer I lease this land off loves these trees and supports my endeavour he has them on the property for his sheep and has had through the past 3 droughts.

Newest arrival new life to sustain and protect I named her Bingo and she will be a tagasaste (Lucerne tree muncher like her mother Dorrah).

Fantastic that her birth comes with rays of sunshine to aid in the growth of the seedlings as this year I have struggled to supply anyone and the backlog is substantial.

Be rest assured I will have strong seedlings ready soon to make sure those interested in planting these ever green succulent legumes for chicken horse cow goat sheep pig alpaca the list goes on as anything can and does eat this tree best of all great for bees in dyer need of help or soil conditioning before planting grapes vegetables or fruit trees as well as ( carbon tax credits many acres and trees needed for this ) will do my very best to keep everyone supplied.

20 minimum order $2 each bare rooted or if after tube stock pickup can be arranged from Beaufort Victoria 3373 and tube stock will be $3.50 each while stocks last.

Hello everyone I’m luke brookes I’m located in Trawalla Victoria near Beaufort and I grow and sell (false Lucerne tree) also known as (Tagasaste ) a great hedge plants to help feed animals or even people if a drought hits and yes I do eat the leaves off this tree in my meals as a garnish it is rather nice flavour and completely safe for anything to eat it’s only downfall is everything eats it making it hard to protect.

I’m gearing up for a large grow this year ready to go in August.

Pick up welcome or I can post them in a ziplock bag inside a box like I have done the past 5 years without many issues.

I am taking orders but will have limited stock so this year I’m requesting a 20% deposit as last year I had a lot of interested people who I grow for that did not follow through with the purchase.

History has a way of repeating after the floods in QLD we have seen dry times afterwards in the past I feel it could be a green drought come spring and not a lot of rain during this winter let’s hope I’m wrong but I am planting 500 at my family’s property.

Easy to trim fast growing up to 1m per year to total size can be 5 meters high by 5 meters wide single stand hedge I plant 1/2 meter apart for very thick hedge.

Only the best of trees are harvested for seed to create the hardiest of seedlings.

Due to vision impairment I am only able to travel one day per week a Monday so please be patient.

Hello everyone I thought I’d drop in a post for all interested in obtaining some Tagasaste (Lucerne tree)
After a weekend selling at Eldorado Victoria I’m now home and gearing up for a large grow with much interest being had at the festival.
