Good morning everyone who is Following and interested in lucerne trees some good news this year i finally got some seed to germinate should be ready to sell in September 2025

After 3 years of failure in saying that i believe i may have been sabotaged because each time they would all die overnight as if been sprayed with something.

This season i have cameras and a new location near Beaufort Victoria and I will be doing things differently first change is $3 seedlings that are grown in a socket meaning posted 📫 with the cocopeat still on the roots no more bare rooted this is a lot more work but I can promise better success rates.

Pictured in picture 1 are the sockets once seedlings are root bound holding everything together seedlings will be around 6-8 inches tall and ready for transplant each one will be placed inside a freezer bag and added to a box postage will be $20 per 20 seedlings it still works out $4 each but no minimum you can buy 1 but will be $23 5= $35 and so on as sent express post at this stage until regular post has been proven but possible 2 weeks in a bag and a box vs 3-5 days.

I will also be potting some up as tube stock sold in pots pickup only for $5 each picture 2

I will be supplying some videos i make on growing trimming and planting as i will be doing a 10 tree hedge at my location.

I trim tips off every 3-6 months keep fresh growth coming you can dry it like lucerne and bag the leaves I will ad videos to this post over the next few weeks/months I plan on planting today all going well.

Photos depict animals that own me ;) i have given very minimal hay rations along with lucerne tree cuttings this past 3 months with zero grass around and the photo of the trailer full of grass is what I used to have to do daily with a brush cutter and rake on roadsides literally nothing I won't do for my animals.

New stock available Tagasaste AKA Lucerne trees change of price because im changing the way i post them $3 each with cocpeat on roots once roots fill the sockets holding the medium together they will be placed into a freezer bag twist tied around base and boxed up for easy transplanting.
Seedlings will be roughly 6-9 inches tall.

Great fire retardant tree used by farmers around here for generations to protect houses and sheds.

Bee keepers dream tree great habitat always green no matter the conditions and plenty of flowers for pollination makes yummy honey.

Very limited stock atm but more on the go as constant daily frosts 5 days in a row frozen leaves as late as 9am each morning caused me to have to start over.

As photos is what I have around 700 seedlings at a guess.

Been a while since I posted anything sorry about that the grow of my Lucerne trees has been slow and difficult due to multiple days of heavy frost I lost 95% of the seedlings and had to start over.

For those waiting they are coming along now and I'm hoping to sell some as Xmas gifts keep an eye out for my sales listing on marketplace and gumtree.

I'll have maybe 4000 to sell at $2 each bare rooted and $20 P&H as sent express or can be collected from Beaufort Victoria 3373

Hello all it’s that time again where I support Australian people and their animals as much as I possibly can through growing and selling drought tolerant legumes tagasaste Lucerne trees.

Still $2 each bare rooted (no pots included) and $16 P&H for any size order as sent express only.

I’d like to post out in bulk if possible so pre paid orders appreciated I’ve built a great reputation over the past 8 years selling and pre paid orders come with priority send off and a 10% extra seedlings bonus for orders 10 or more as your helping me grow them out and of cause a %100 money back if anything was to happen to the seedlings prior to postage.

I’m vision impaired so postage will only be on a Monday my shopping day in town as I cannot drive.

Your future is my number one concern as farmers around here and myself believe dry times are very near so I’ve grown a large number of trees and keeping my price low even in high inflation times.

A possible life long safe for anything to eat including humans this fodder tree is a huge asset to any property.

The farmer I lease this land off loves these trees and supports my endeavour he has them on the property for his sheep and has had through the past 3 droughts.

An ever green tree drinking from up to 10 meters deep saves on water as leaves help hydrate the animals.

Perfect for Bee and Bird habitat they create own ecosystem and they don’t burn easy so a great fire break wind break dust reduction wall and privacy security hedge.

Newest arrival new life to sustain and protect I named her Bingo and she will be a tagasaste (Lucerne tree muncher like her mother Dorrah).

Fantastic that her birth comes with rays of sunshine to aid in the growth of the seedlings as this year I have struggled to supply anyone and the backlog is substantial.

Be rest assured I will have strong seedlings ready soon to make sure those interested in planting these ever green succulent legumes for chicken horse cow goat sheep pig alpaca the list goes on as anything can and does eat this tree best of all great for bees in dyer need of help or soil conditioning before planting grapes vegetables or fruit trees as well as ( carbon tax credits many acres and trees needed for this ) will do my very best to keep everyone supplied.

20 minimum order $2 each bare rooted or if after tube stock pickup can be arranged from Beaufort Victoria 3373 and tube stock will be $3.50 each while stocks last.
