There are some 250 species of turtles and tortoises worldwide. 23 are found in Australia and over half of these are listed as endangered species. Today is a reminder that they really are in need of our help to ensure they can thrive and survive for future years to come.

We are often asked "DO WE GET OUR PET'S ASHES RETURNED"
after Water Cremation?

Absolutely - YES.

In both Water Cremation and traditional Flame Cremation, the process reduces the organic material of the body, leaving behind the bone fragments, or what is known as the cremated remains. As we do not use fire in water cremation, we refer to the ashes as CREMAINS.

Many animals served as mascots or symbols for military units during WWI.

Dogs were the most popular companions. They provided friendship and comfort to the soldiers before and after deployment to the front, as well as help soldiers who were recovering in hospitals.

Lest we forget animals on Anzac Day.

Pictured : Mutt, a French Bulldog, carried ci******es to troops on the front lines during WWI. Twice wounded, he spent most of his time in the war with the 11th Engineers. When the war ended, troop mascots usually stayed behind, but Soldiers in Mutt’s unit successfully smuggled him onto the ship that carried them home to New York.
