Hi lovely clients ;

To prevent any confusion, I would like to let you know the reasoning behind changing Surgery name. I have more than 15 years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine and surgery and I have been offering all sorts of surgeries, dental procedures and treatments to my clients . However alternative treatment is a new field for me . Im very open to alternative treatments and wouldn’t like to offer traditional medicine unless I find it necessary based on my knowledge. I have graduated from Melbourne University with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. I recently moved here from Victoria after taking over the business from Dr. Dorothea Hofman. Glasshouse holistic vet has always been very well known due to offering Holistic treatment options as well as traditional medicine by Dr. Hofman. She is a very great holistic vet and we have recently had clients coming from far away to have a consultation with her . We decided to change the name to make sure it’s not misleading for clients especially those who have never been here before and decided to travel a long way because they have heard of Dr. Hofman. As anyone else, there will be a time for all of us to retire .
We are offering all surgeries, consults, titre test , vaccinations and same raw food. We won’t be as strong in holistic treatment as before but still dispensing all herbal medicines as before.
We are actively looking to find an experienced Holistic vet to be able to offer you the high quality care that your fury friends deserve to have.

Hi lovely clients , the following post is from our great vet , Dr. Dorothea Hofman. We are extremely sad to see her go as everyone else would be as well. We wish her and her family the best in her new chapter of life.

“The time has come to announce that I will be retiring from the surgery to pursue other avenues in life. Having graduated in 1985 and worked almost constantly since that time it is now time to put myself and family first.
I have been very fortunate to have thoughly enjoyed my profession and have absolutely no regrets.
We do however now wish to take on travel projects before either the world does not let us or our bodies decide it is too problematic.
I have handed the reins over to Dr Jila Tahni as many of you already know however I will be available for some consultations for a limited time only but am no longer available to perform surgical procedures as Dr Jila is more than capable to do this and has great skill and knowledge in the profession.
Many of you as clients have become well known to me over the years and it has been a pleasure to know you and look after your pets and as such I can only thankyou for your trust and custom.I wish everyone all the best in the future and can only hope that some of this world madness settles down and that we can live our lives peacefully without government interference.
