Busy and hot morning at McGuire Equine Bemboka. Massaging both there own young breakers and clients breakers.
Its important to support baby horses with bodywork while they make the transition Into ridden life. In doing this you can catch the niggles before they become an problem.

Another very busy day today. Amongst which I had a weekly visit to Marisa Whant at MSW and a visit to prepare my great clients Towamba Valley Paints & Quarter Horses beautiful c**t ready for his trip to the landmark sales this week. What a beautiful 2yr old he is. We are very lucky to have such great breeders of quarter horses in our area. This year they have some exciting "more metal" babies on the ground as well as there great paint stallion Maximum Chance. Whose young son Zeus was also on my list for massage today.

Tonight I have been abused by a person requiring my help with a horse.
I don't generally have appointments at the drop of a hat, I try my best to accommodate people but its not always possible, I have children and my own horses to attend to as well as my clients both in and out of the area.
Anyone who knows me knows I go above and beyond for my clients and most have become friends over the years.
I'm sorry you feel I didn't try hard enough to fit you in, but messaging at 10.30pm on Saturday night probably isn't a great time to get a response, especially when I said I'd have to go as I was relaxing with my family as it was my day off, The last message they sent was at 11pm.
I have no hate for this person and i hope they get the help they need, but it really makes me question if I'm in the right industry. Which in turn makes me sad.

Well finally got back out this weekend on Seth (Gotico Park Seguro) after over 12 months without competition, for a multiple of reasons.
I had a lovely weekend at Bemboka, the weather was great and Seth was a superstar.
We came away winning the Introductory Championship. Coming first in the Dressage with a PB, first in EOH 1 and joint first in EOH 2.
Couldn't be happier with Seth. We've got this mate. 💚
Thanks to Belinda Bolsenbroek for all your coaching in the last few years, helping us through many of our issues, and explaining why things happen.
Marisa Whant of MSW riding academy for giving me a confidence leg up and helping me formulate a plan to have us game ready for the weekend, and being in my corner.

Congratulations to clients Sue Ollington and Pete. Pete gets regular bodywork to keep him in tip top condition. This partnership are really kicking goals. This weekend they ventured up the mountain to compete at MEA DRESSAGE.
Always great to push your comfort zone.
