Bega and Cobargo Veterinary Hospital are on the look out for an experienced and qualified Veterinary Nurse to work in their busy Bega Hospital. Completion of Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing is the minimum required qualification, with at least 3 years practical experience. Unfortunately we will not be accepting any trainee or unqualified nurse applications at this time.
Bega Veterinary Hospital is a busy mixed practice, servicing approximately 70% small animals and 30% large animals with a small percentage being made up of exotics and wildlife.
The position can be both part time or full time for the right candidate, working up to a 4 day week. Flexibility is important, as we do have a rotating roster for after hours and weekends.
We have a modern Veterinary Hospital offering a busy surgery schedule including orthopaedics, digital radiography (including dental radiography), ultrasound, equine and small animal dentistry, emergency care, large animal services, exotics and wildlife.
Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, empathetic and have excellent customer service skills. Be able to have the ability to work efficiently both, within a team and individually, listen well to instructions and the drive to providing a high standard of care to both, our clients and patients. Be friendly with a good sense of humour and a can do attitude is a must. A minimum P1 licence is also required for this position.
