The Droughtmaster Foundation Stud of Alma was dispersed on the weekend at the Dalby Saleyards to a strong gallery of leading studs who had gathered from as far afield as North Queensland and into NSW.
With the first Alma registered female 'Alma 1' registered with the Australian Tropical Breeder's Association in February 1957, this sale saw the culmination of nearly 60 years of quality Droughtmaster pedigrees to go under the hammer.
The sale saw a total dispersal of both the Alma Brahman and the Alma Droughtmaster Herds.
