Usually, our monthly adoption days are awesome. We have lots of people come to meet and spend time with our KPR kids, but this month was a bit of a letdown.
Unfortunately, only a few people turned up and NONE of our dogs got adopted!
Don’t get me wrong, we did have a few people wanting to adopt but unfortunately, the homes were not suitable, and we would rather keep our KPR kids in care than send them to the wrong homes.
Coming to our adoption days does not guarantee that you will be going home with a new pet. Yesterday, we had to decline a couple of people. One because the puppy (who has always slept inside) was going to be left outside in the cold, another because they had no fences. Unfortunately, one of these people was very upset with us but the thought of the puppy outside in the cold was far worse for us than upsetting someone who had already been declined adoption by us for the same dog, for the same reason.
Our monthly adoption days are held at our office in Wondai on the 4th Saturday of every month. This coincides with the Wondai markets, weekly park runs and numerous other events throughout the year.
Our next adoption day will be on the 24th of August, and we are hopeful of a much better turnout so if you are thinking of adopting or would just like to meet some of our awesome KPR kids, please consider coming along.
Adoption on the day is available (as long as you are a good match) so you could fall in love and go home with a brand-new family member!
These kids are still available. Let's hope they all find homes before our next adoption day! Get your applications in!

Hi everyone i know i don't get on here much ( old School LOL ) hope you are enjoying these winter days they are glorious.
