SOS BABIES NEED OUR HELP!!
8 little Labrador x Cattle puppies were left at the vet clinic in St George Qlld.
We have agreed to help, however we need 3 things
1- We need a transport angel to go on a road trip tomorrow and collect them. We will cover fuel costs.
2– foster carers for them to stay with, preferably in pairs.
3- donations to help towards their transport, medical and food costs.

Foster or foster with a view to forever home needed for Buster and Cookie.
These 2 chunky Mini Foxie boys have come into our care through no fault of their own. Sadly, their very elderly owner has gone into a nursing home.
As you would expect, these boys are a bit confused, and they would love somewhere quiet to stay.
Buster is 9 years old, and Cookie is 7 1/2. They are used to an adult only home, and we would prefer to keep it that way at this stage so as not to stress them any more than they have been.
These boys have had all of their vet work done and they are ready to go asap.
Pickup is from Wondai QLD.
If you can offer these boys a safe place to land, please send us a message. They are fine with other dogs but untested with cats.

Meet Vanessa.
We are hoping and praying that colour bias doesn’t see this special girl overlooked…….
It is a fact that black dogs spend far more time waiting for adoption than dogs of other colours do.
It is a fact that, no matter how much they have to offer, black dogs are often overlooked for “prettier” dogs.
Vanessa is stunning! She is friendly, happy, chilled out and loving. She is both dog and cat friendly and she is good with kids.
Wrapped up in a different coat, Vanessa would have potential adopters begging to take her home but the only thing going begging for Vanessa are applications.
It’s hard to convey how sweet a dog is with pictures and words, and when they are perceived as “plain” looking, it is even harder. Vanessa is a mix breed and currently weighs 14 kg.
Vanessa deserves a home where her humans can see past her generic colour. We all know that black goes with everything, and Vanessa would fit in just about anywhere!
Let’s break the black dog curse and find Vanessa her furever family soon. Please share this post far and wide, her pawfect family is out there somewhere, we just have to find them.

Usually, our monthly adoption days are awesome. We have lots of people come to meet and spend time with our KPR kids, but this month was a bit of a letdown.
Unfortunately, only a few people turned up and NONE of our dogs got adopted!
Don’t get me wrong, we did have a few people wanting to adopt but unfortunately, the homes were not suitable, and we would rather keep our KPR kids in care than send them to the wrong homes.
Coming to our adoption days does not guarantee that you will be going home with a new pet. Yesterday, we had to decline a couple of people. One because the puppy (who has always slept inside) was going to be left outside in the cold, another because they had no fences. Unfortunately, one of these people was very upset with us but the thought of the puppy outside in the cold was far worse for us than upsetting someone who had already been declined adoption by us for the same dog, for the same reason.
Our monthly adoption days are held at our office in Wondai on the 4th Saturday of every month. This coincides with the Wondai markets, weekly park runs and numerous other events throughout the year.
Our next adoption day will be on the 24th of August, and we are hopeful of a much better turnout so if you are thinking of adopting or would just like to meet some of our awesome KPR kids, please consider coming along.
Adoption on the day is available (as long as you are a good match) so you could fall in love and go home with a brand-new family member!
These kids are still available. Let's hope they all find homes before our next adoption day! Get your applications in!

Hi everyone i know i don't get on here much ( old School LOL ) hope you are enjoying these winter days they are glorious.
