Congratulations to the winners of our Christmas raffle organised by our groomer Rachael! 👏Dudley, Oscar and Mo Mo (not pictured) got to take home a hamper of assorted toys and goodies to enjoy over Christmas!

Don't forget Rose City Vets will be closed from 5:30pm this evening to the 29th of December. We will reopen from 8:30am on Monday the 30th of December 🎄

A group of ferrets is called a 'business.' 🤣

Rose City Vets will be awarding the winner for the 'Rose City Vet Ferret Racing Cup' tomorrow at the Benalla Spring Show! 🌸 The first heat starts at 1:15pm and the cup will be awarded at 2:30pm.

'Let's get down to business,' enjoy watching some ferret racing and support your local community! 😃🏁

Our puppy school classes are run here at the clinic on Wednesday nights and are tailored to you and your puppy's needs!

Puppy school is an excellent way to commence your puppy's training and get that early socialization they require in order to grow into calm, relaxed and obedient dogs!

Fun Fact Friday 🐾

Roosters prevent themselves from going deaf due to their own loud crowing, by tilting their heads back when they crow, which covers their ear canals completely, serving as built in ear plugs!

A study shows that their crows average over 100 decibels, which is roughly the same a running a chainsaw!

Friday Fun! 🐾 It was puppies galore this morning with 14 Poodle and Silky Terrier puppies in for vaccinations! 😍

It's not every day you get to see a platypus up this close! 😍 Yesterday a kind member of the public brought a platypus into the clinic that they had found in a carpark away from the water and her usual habitat. Upon examination, we found that the platypus was a juvenile female and was quite underweight. We administered fluids under the skin to improve her hydration and gave her some delicious worms and yabbies to eat (although she much preferred the worms) and then sent her to Healesville Sanctuary for further care 🥰
