We offer canine myotherapy which includes everything from remedial massage, sports massage, arthritis management, therapeutic massage to relaxation massage and more. Massage therapy not only has so many natural, relaxing effects to a dog, but it also has several physiological effects on them as well. Massage encourages the body to heal itself, as well as increasing blood supply and nutrients to th

e muscle, it relaxes the dog, reduced stress and tension, and helps the body to move the way it was designed to. We offer :
Remedial massage, sports massage, therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, post surgery massage, puppy massage, senior and palliative massage, and so many more that will help benefit any dog, of any age, shape or size. We also offer dog training to help with basic manners, learning how to train your new puppy or teaching your dog new skills. Working on a number of skills from loose lead walking, or recall, wait, manners and many more. We offer private sessions, one on one, as well as a number of group classes

We had such a cute group of dogs graduate this weekend!
The puppies did amazing and were so well-behaved!🐶
Then the big girls graduated from our Tricks class. They learnt so many cool tricks and we had so much fun!🐾🐾

🐾Group classes🐾
We have a class running in a couple of weeks' time for dogs over the age of 20 weeks.
Group classes are a great way to teach your dogs how to act around other dogs and people, let them socialise appropriately, as well as teach them new skills and practise their skills with other distractions. Send me a message for any information and to book your dog in!

Group classes are a great way of teaching your puppy, or dog, new skills, as well as advance the ones you have already taught them. By adding in new distractions, environments, noises, and so on.
It is also a great way to socialise your dog and teach them how to act around other dogs and people.

Lean dogs are healthy dogs. People often think they need to feed their dog to show affection, which can lead to overweight dogs. Having a lean dog can increase the life span of your dog, lower their chances of hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis, as well as taking the pressure off joints and reduce chronic conditions such as heart disease.
Your dog should have a visible waistline when looking from above. When running your hands down their ribs, you should be able to feel their ribs a little. Too much rib is underweight, if you can barely feel ribs, they may be overweight. Remember if you're giving your dog treats throughout the day, you need to lessen the amount you're feeding them at meal time🐾🐾

Please remember that chocolate is toxic to dogs, so make sure it is kept away from them. If you're doing an Easter egg hunt, make sure all eggs are accounted for before letting your pets back into the area and the choccies are kept safe out of reach!🍫

It is so common for people to come home and make a big deal about seeing their pups.
Everyone is excited to see each other, and you give them lots of pats and attention. But did you know this could be creating separation anxiety in your pup? As well as teaching them, it is ok to act all crazy when they see you. Instead, you want to make it seem like no big deal. Come home and ignore them. Put the groceries away, make a coffee, whatever it is you normally do. And when your pup is calm, then interact with them.
Teach them that when you leave, and when you come back, it's no big deal. It's nothing to get overly anxious or worried about. It just happens. This will make for a calmer dog without separation anxiety and will make it easier for you to leave the house and come home🐾🐾

This handsome little man has been a little sore lately. He is a 12 year old gentleman, so he has a few aches and pains due to age, arthritis and the fact he is still a puppy in an older mans body. It was a pleasure to give him a treatment today and help him feel better!

🐾Recall🐾
Teaching your dog recall is one of the most important things you can teach them. You want them to come back as soon as they're called, and the first time they're called. Always make sure they are on lead until you are 100% sure they will come back 100% of the time. Be sure to practise on lead in areas where you can build up their distraction levels over time, and they shouldn't be let off lead until you can recall them from another dog, person, animal etc. If you don't think they'll listen, then they need to stay on lead. Invest in a long lead if you want to give them more room to roam but have that peace of mind knowing they can't get too far away.

A lot of people have trouble getting their dogs to stop pulling on the lead during a walk, and I've got a few tips and tricks for that.
The biggest tip is the way you leave the house. Try to remain calm, grab your dogs' lead, and clip it to your dog when calm.
A lot of people will hype their dog up when going for a walk. Saying "walkies" in a high tone and getting overly excite and over stimulating their dog. Remain calm, and don't leave the house until your dog is calm. It will start the walk off on a calmer note and make it a lot more pleasant!

Teething puppies!🦷🐾
All pups will grow their puppy teeth, then lose them. Then, grow their adult teeth. This can hurt, just like in babies.
Pigs' ears and bully sticks are a great long-lasting treat to give your pup while teething. Allowing them to chew the treat to help with the pain. When they try to chew your hands or shoes, give them one of these instead to help the pain and teach them not to chew on things they shouldn't!🐶
