🌡️ HEAT POLICY REMINDER 🌡️

With extreme heat forecast over the next four days, we want to remind everyone of our store closure policy:

🚫 Our store closes when the outdoor temperature reaches 35°C.

Why do we close?
🐍 Transporting live animals (including crickets and worms) in hot cars is not safe.
🔥 The constant opening and closing of our doors raises the in-store temperature, which we want to manage for the wellbeing of the animals.
⚠️ These conditions make it impractical to keep the store open for business.

What about the animals?
✅ Our team continues to care for them outside of store hours, just as we do on regular days.
✅ Their welfare remains our top priority, even when we are closed to customers.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to plan ahead for their reptile needs before the heatwave hits! Stay cool and take care.

We want to let you know about a small change to our cricket pricing. Due to rising supplier costs, we’ve had to adjust our prices. Since we began, we’ve supplied over 200 buckets of crickets at cost to us, and we’ve struggled to maintain a steady supply of buckets in store.

To help make things more sustainable, we’re introducing two pricing options:

✅ Cricket Refill Pricing – Save money when you bring your own bucket back for a refill.
✅ Cricket + Bucket Pricing – Need a new bucket? No problem! Purchase one to keep and reuse.

Bringing your bucket back for refills isn’t just budget-friendly—it also helps us ensure we can keep crickets stocked and ready for your scaly friends!
