One of our lovely families wanted to contribute to the “Little D Fund” so I took D and his friend Snow on a trip to Petbarn for some toys and treats, and then to Bunnings for some extra pats 🥰🥰🥰

It was a long day yesterday so didn’t get around to posting his own post, but Little D is back home after his operation. He’s on crate rest for 2 weeks. Will be ensuring he receives plenty of cuddles. 💕

🏥 Great news, Little D had his surgery yesterday Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital😌 A huge thankyou to the expert care and skills to everyone looking after this sweet boy! His surgery to fix his PDA gives this little one a bright future. He was discharged this afternoon 👌Currently in expert foster care with Michayla, thanks for everything.💐 Devin will be looking for his forever home once he has recovered. 💞(Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is an opening between two blood vessels leading from the heart)

The Fellowship of the Dachies are 6 weeks old!
We had our vet check, microchip and first vax this week. They were all very brave ❤️

Update on Little D!
We unfortunately had to reschedule surgery again as the little man has an upset tum. He’s still happy and lapping up cuddles, but best to wait till he’s 100% before having an anaesthetic.
Third time is a charm, next week we will have surgery on Tuesday! ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Friends and Family ❤️

Some of you may have had the pleasure to meet this little Angel already! This is Little D, who we have been fostering for 2 weeks. He is not one of my babies, but has become part of our little pack.

He has a grade 5 heart murmur caused by a PDA (patent ductus arteriosis).

He is pending heart surgery to have the PDA tied off.

He has generously been taken on by Dachshund Rescue Australia, who are inundated with requests to rehome and foster dachshunds across Australia.

We will post updates on his progress leading up to and after surgery.
And after surgery, once he is fully recovered, he will be available for adoption via Dachshund Rescue Australia.

Threw the rabbits and minis in together whilst I cleaned out the mini’s pen!
