We are still desperately seeking a vet to join the team.
An exciting opportunity in a recently established privately owned small animal clinic is available. Our client base is growing rapidly and we need a vet to join our fabulous team.
We are seeking a motivated, compassionate vet who is enthusiastic and passionate about high quality clinical work. Being client-focused and dedicated to providing positive outcomes. We strive to provide a collaborative, supportive workplace with genuine clinical freedom. Brilliant mentoring and support is provided from the experienced vet and nursing staff.
An interest in medicine and reproduction would be beneficial but not a must.
All new equipment throughout the clinic, with state of the art digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, and full Idexx diagnostic machines.
We work closely and have good relationships with specialists who visit the clinic on a regular basis.
We also provide a grooming service to clients within the clinic.
The clinic is based in beautiful Bendigo in central Victoria. The clinic has an excellent location near the centre of town. Bendigo offers so much and is only a short drive to Melbourne.
Flexible hours are negotiable. New or recent graduates welcome to apply. Minimal afterhours with great support from nurses with this.

What we are offering:
Full time position (head nurse)
Occasional weekend work and some after-hours as needed
Work with dedicated vet which is hard-working and committed with years of experience in general practice.
Interesting and varied role, we let our nurses do a lot more hands-on nursing!
Secure, supportive and flexible environment
Training of junior and trainee staff as needed
Continuing education is strongly encouraged and supported
About You:
You will be expected to deliver a high level of nursing care to all patients
Good communication to clients and other staff
You can work well under pressure in a team and autonomously.
Great sense of humour welcomed.
Essential Attributes:
Minimum of 4 years experience
Minimum Certificate IV or equivalent
Professional and positive demeanour
Good communication skills with clients and staff
Ability to work efficiently with initiative, motivated and take pride in work
Exceptional organizational skills
Extensive knowledge and understanding of vet nurse procedures and anaesthetic monitoring

A reminder to all our wonderful clients that Friday 27th Sept is the AFL public holiday so we will be closed. We have also decided to close on Saturday 28th Sept to allow our hard working staff to have some much needed down time. Back as normal from Monday 30th Sept for all your furry friends.
