Congratulations Suzy and Katinka, Tara and Wilson, Marg and Toffee and Sian with Peach, Amity and Feliks.
Having fun is what it’s all about and when that partnership with your dog clicks, it certainly is something special.

So proud of Amity’s “pups”.
In NSW, “Katinka” and Suzy gained their 3rd pass towards a Trick Dog Novice Title and in Victoria, in very trying, wet and wild conditions “Toffee” and Marg gained their final passes for the Rally Excellent Title. Toffee is usually only a warm weather water girl 😂

Our Club’s 2025 calendar features the one and only “Tyson” in a super fun and colorful theme that celebrates Hungarian Vizslas. Each month showcases amazing photos submitted by our members of their Hungarian Vizslas in all sorts of Vizsla-inspired activities.

This is our seventeenth calendar, and it’s another fantastic way to promote our beloved breed while raising funds for our welfare program.

Our calendar is A3, wire-bound, and designed and printed in Australia on top-notch paper stock. We’re aiming to deliver it in time for Christmas, and it's a limited print run so don’t miss out!

In NSW Feliks gained his Trick Dog Starter Title (pending) and a qualifying Sprint Dog run in the ACT.
Katinka gained another Trick Dog Novice pass in NSW with Suzy
And in QLD, Tara and Wilson gained their JDO title (pending).
Congratulations clever “kids” and their owners who love having fun with their dogs.

The lovely Gamecall half sisters had a great weekend just gone.

Congratulations to Suzy and “Katinka” gaining their Rally Advance title, including a spare pass and 3rd place and also a qualifying score at their first attempt at Trick Dog Novice.

And to Marg and “Toffee”, excelling once again at sniffing and passing Track and Search Dog Track 7 with a Very Good grading.
Next tracking season will be an exciting one I’m sure.

On Monday we attended the Dogs ACT Unofficial Sprint Dog Trial. We had no idea how Feliks would cope, he’s a dog who gets very distracted by the environment especially smells!! He had a blast!! Chasing is not what vizslas do, they work within close range of their handlers but he had a go and had moments of “omg, where am I? Where are they?” But he finished both runs and was sooo happy. He’s no Carl Lewis, but there’s hope 😂

What a beautiful update from Master Tzubi’s family. We had been chatting about the new arthritis medication, Beransa. Tzubi’s family decided to give it a go and now Huxley can’t work out who this “new” dog is!! Tzubi is from our “Point” litter and turns 14 in February. Young Huxley is their third vizsla from Gamecall, from our “Tidal” litter, joining the family after the sad loss of Jensen from our “Lapua” litter. Let’s hope Tzubi enjoys the new spring in his step.
