A successful morning getting back into a couple of lessons after baby Fletcher made his arrival 6 weeks ago.
The first of many teaching days with my new co-worker 🥰 possibly the only co-worker you ever want to sleep on the job 🤣
Thank you Joshi & Laura for your patience today. So lovely to be back even if it is only for a few hours a week.
Also a huge thank you to Marina who has just been a saviour during this time for me, the place has been so well managed. Everything looks amazing and everyone is as happy as ever 😇

A big congratulations to Jackie and her mare Jindy on the successful arrival of a gorgeous black c**t named Felix.
It was our absolute pleasure to foal your girl down at DP and so glad you were able to be part of it.
A big thanks to my #1 husband for all your help getting Felix to his feet while I’m unable to being heavily ‘in foal’ myself.

Looking forward to seeing this little guy grow up and to the 2023 foaling season

Huge congratulations to super star Bridie Harris and her boy Sunny on an amazing effort at Tamworth one day event!!
We have had such limited chances to work together this year due to the rain but you went out there and nailed it sitting 7th place after the dressage component and then climbing to 5th after your jumping & cross country.
So proud of you!!
Credit also to her jumping coach for getting this pair ready under such frustrating circumstances!
Looks like Bridie Harris will have a big smile the whole way home 🤩
Well done also to super mum Danielle, it takes a village!

A very belated competition result post but I think we all can use a positive post to stop thinking about the craziness this weather is causing so many people including us.

Some wonderful students competed at Berry dressage day on the 20th and it was all smiles.
A big congratulations to Bec and her beautiful ginger ‘Agnes’ who competed in the Prep with a score over 64% even though Bec decided she liked her version of the test better 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
These two have been working so hard to get their partnership growing and the photo just shows how happy they are together 🥰

Laura and her handsome Roger just nailed everything we have been working on to win the Elementary 3A with a huge score of 76.6%.
Roger is such a cool character but not naturally uphill nor forward thinking. Laura has worked so so hard to strengthen him and improve their contact and flow in the test.

So proud of both these combinations 🤩

Definition: a group of people, often women who actively ignore doctors orders and also ignore the severe weather warnings with the attitude ‘it’s all good, we hired an indoor’.
The clinic is going ahead and we all hope we can get home before the roads close.

Super proud of Amy Billet and her little dude ‘Tommy’ on their amazing showing results.

At Bowral show in January they received a 1st and two 3rds in the Hunter ring and claimed reserve champion led ASP and champion ridden ASP in a hugely competitive class.

They competed on the 23rd of January at the NSW pony classic and won Champion ridden Welsh & 1st place in the Hunter ring. They also received a qualifier for the Welsh Nationals in VIC 🤩

On Friday they competed at Nowra show and were awarded Champion led Welsh and Reserve Champion ridden welsh. Today at Nowra they rode away with Champion ridden large hunter pony!

To say I am proud is an understatement. Amy has worked so hard to bring Tom along to be the success he is today and it has been my pleasure to work with you both. A very exciting future for these two and a huge congratulations!

Wanted to buy

On the look out on behalf of a client for a safe and reliable mount for a beginner/novice rider.

Ideally a gelding however mares will be considered. Any breed (please no recent ex racehorses) 14.3hh-16hh, 8yo-18yo.
My student is a very keen rider who is looking for a horse to take her forward in her riding.
Horse does not need to be a world be**er and doesn’t need to win a beauty contest however it does need to be a SAFE mount at home and out at pony club & be balanced in the walk, trot & canter with a soft mouth.

My student has weekly lessons and is very dedicated to learning everything there is to know about horses. She has a balanced seat with soft hands and will be under professional guidance.

The newest member of their family will know a life of love and pamper and will live at our agistment centre in Berry.
Out agistment facilities include large grassy paddocks with safe horse fencing, dressage arena & round yard.

Horse needs to be sound although manageable ‘wear and tear’ is understood to be part of a horse that has ‘been there done that’.
Horse will be thoroughly vetted prior to purchase.

Budget is $5000.
We are located on south coast however we will travel for the right prospect.

Well it’s hot out! Nutella enjoying a tradies version of a fan haha
Don’t forget our horses also suffer in the heat and they can’t escape into the aircon after exercise.
Avoid riding in the heat of the day, Cool water and shade are a must and if you can make them a drink with electrolytes or add salt to their feed this will help them recover.

One smiling coach with the efforts of everyone who competed at BRC dressage day last Sunday.
Congratulations to Chelsea Olivia & her gorgeous boy Wiseman who won both Jnr Prep tests with unreal scores including a 78.421% and 2 movements scoring 9.5! 🤩
You have been working so hard in your lessons and I’m so proud.
Amy & her little man Tom placed 1st & 2nd in their pony tests with over 72% in the Prep E scoring lots of 8s for their movements.
Laura and the ever chilled Roger placed 3rd and 4th in their Novice tests. The marking was tough so I’m super stoked for you to see some 7s for your lengthens and paces. Your persistence with your man is all coming together.
Last but certainly not least is my favourite Eventer who I know drags her feet to her dressage lessons while she skips to her jumping lessons 🤣 But I Hope Penny and Nitro are smiling with their amazing results including a 68.571% and second in the 1B and 3rd in the 1B. So many 8s for your trot work and a 9 for your final halt!! So happy for you both, well done.

Big thanks to Paul Cornale for looking after our fur babies today.
We are lucky to have our horses in such good hands with both of our 3year olds needing wolf tooth extraction and our other riding horses needing some routine work and mouth balancing. You’re a legend!

Super proud dressage coach moment with Bridie and Sunny winning their dressage phase at Denman ODE EVA80 last weekend with a score of 71.11%.
They then went on to win the whole class after clear jumping and XC 😍
Most eventers find the dressage component ‘boring’ but Bridie is a perfectionist and is my proof of how being on top of that leader board on day 1 can have you enter the next phases with a positive outlook. Congrats chick!!
Big congrats to her jumping coach Marlene and also to her Mum Danielle who is the ever dedicated driver and support for this awesome duo! Takes a village and many cups of coffee on those early morning lessons 😂

Over a year of saddle issues and an unhappy horse is finally over thanks to Malcolm MacRae from Custom saddles NSW.
