Hi everyone,
Many of you may have heard about Berry local, Col Andrews, recent medical emergency in Thailand.

Col is one of our amazing nurses, Belle's, dad. Belle is over in Thailand now with Col with his surgery scheduled for today.

The medical costs are adding up and Col’s family would appreciate any help you can provide, even if you aren’t able to donate, sharing the link would be greatly appreciated.

💜🌼 🌹 𝓥𝓲𝓸𝓵𝓮𝓽, 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮 & 𝓓𝓪𝓲𝓼𝔂 🌹🌼💜

It was instant smiles when these three gorgeous girls came in for their annual vaccinations and health checks. We couldn't resist getting a photo of the three of them together, although trying to get 3 labs to sit for a photo is just like taking a photo of 3 kids - until we got the treats out 😂

As many of you know, Berry Vet Clinic have been supporting Up Berry for the month of October and one of the ways we did this is donating a percentage of money from our female dog speys to the cause. But what many of you may not know, is that one of the main reasons why we desex female dogs (apart from avoiding pregnancy) is to prevent mammary cancer.

In fact:
- The risk of a female dog getting this type of cancer before their first heat is 0.5%
- 8% after first heat
- 26% after second heat
- And sadly 50% are malignant

So thank you for all who have booked their dogs in to be speyed throughout October, not only have you reduced the risk of your own dog getting mammary cancer, but you have contributed to a very important cause 💗

"We may have been a little quiet on our socials, but that's only because we have been working hard behind the scenes transitioning our clinics to best serve our team, our clients, and of course, our much loved animals.
We can't start to tell you how hard it was translating our driving cause into words! Please give us a heart or thumbs up if you resonate with our purpose.❤️👍"

One Year - 12 months - 52 Weeks - 365 Days

The words to express the amount of time that has passed since you’ve been gone are easier to find, yet words to express what that time has meant for us individually and as a team at the clinic are hard to articulate.

So much has changed and yet so much hasn’t.

We still see your face even though you don’t walk through the door and we still hear your chuckle every time something is said or done that we know would have made you laugh. You will always be a part of who we are.

We remember you not just today but everyday….

Bryden & Sarah and the rest of your team at Berry Veterinary Clinic.

Community Announcement

It is with much consideration that we have decided to update our weekend opening hours to reflect the family values we hold so dear. As such we will be closed on Sundays from now on.

Theses changes will not effect the emergency afterhours service, which is available through the normal channels.

Our doors will be back open on Monday from 8am for all your pet care needs, but until then, we hope you all have a splendid Sunday!

Help us create a BETTER future for kids with cancer.

Did you know that 90 children are diagnosed with cancer each month in Australia?

As many as 90% of kids who survive will develop one or more chronic health conditions. We’ve got to find a better way to help them... That’s why we are taking action.

This September, the team at Berry Vet Clinic have been logging 90km of movement each to help raise money for cancer treatments that are kinder, gentler and more effective.

Please support us by making a tax-deductible donation to The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Let's be better, to create a better future for kids with cancer!!!

You will find the link to donate below & we thank you all for your support

🎣 ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑒 & 𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑒𝑟 🎣

Catch of the day, Lola!

Poor little Lola had an altercation with a fishing hook and came in to see Dr Emma.

X-rays showed that she thankfully did not swallow any other hooks, so Dr Emma was able to safely remove this one from her cheeky chops!

Anthony,

Our team is grappling to comprehend your loss. We keep expecting to see your face and hear your contagious chuckle as you walk through the doors.

You devoted your life to this clinic, your clients and their animals. Many hours were spent conversing over the past, present and future of the clinic and we shall hold those memories close.

Trust that we shall carry on your hopes and dreams and continue to build upon the legacy you have created.

During this time of grief, when we are struggling for words, a picture can say more than anything.

There will never be another AB!

Forever loved and missed.
Rest in Peace Dr Anthony Bennett

Bryden and the rest of your team at Berry Veterinary Clinic.
