BALANCING HOOF PRINTS
A horse’s foot fall leaves behind a hoof print legacy which offers vast information about the mechanism of that horse’s locomotive apparatus, i.e., the muscular effort directed towards propulsion and the neuromuscular control of that horse to control its center of gravity to balance himself and to offset lateral displacement during movement.
“Balancing Hoof Prints” will soon be launched as an information packed continuum of articles aimed towards giving horse enthusiasts a substantial breadth of subject matter to help cultivate their understanding of a horse’s Athletic Performance, whilst prioritising Veterinary and Biomedical Wellness.
Many articles are well under way, each topic will be presented as a masterpiece and an amalgamation of information collected throughout the author’s years of Veterinary Practice, University Study and exploring Peer-Reviewed Scientific Studies.
These articles will invite numerous Qualified Practicing Figures to complement the information put forth with their own expertise to create a Bridge between Veterinary Science, Musculoskeletal Conditioning, Injury Rehabilitation and Performance Training in the Equine Athlete.
I trust this resource will create talking points and be of interest to horse owners across a multitude of equine disciplines.
It has never been my vision for my passion for horses to have an end point, but more that I will leave something behind that becomes my legacy to live beyond me in empowering horse enthusiasts to care for one of God's greatest masterpieces….
“The horse”.
