Once again dog groomers are being lumped as a non essential service! I’m sorry but unlike people getting a haircut a groom by groomer is hygiene and preventative - both which are essential to the health and welfare of our animals!
Regular Grooming can help prevent yeast and bacterial infections, identify health issues early such as ear infections or sore teeth, even cancers, and prevent toe nails becoming imbedded in pads.
Seriously can the government not understand that our animals require this service?

Hi Everyone, and a joyous holiday season to you all. don't forget your furry friends these holidays, both with lots of love and pressies!! On another note, it is hot out there, so do your pets a favour and give them a brush to remove all excess hair and allow air flow around their coats! Leave plenty of fresh clean water for them to drink, and as a treat, freeze some in empty cans, warm the cans and plop the extra large icecubes in their water! another cooling idea is to get a clam pool and put a small amount of cool water in it, set it in the shade and when your pooch is too warm, it will go and cool its belly! It has been very busy over the warm summer here at Doggy Indulgence, with lots of pooches in to get summer hair doos, just a reminder to everyone to keep your pet brushed, as there are still grass seeds out there to work their way into your pets skin! Also, dont forget the flea treatment!!

We had a great day at the Frankston Pets Day Out and met lots of pet owners and their dogs! The winner of our dog hamper on the day was Carol Ralphe of Frankston, well done Carol and her dog Skye! We hope to see everyone at the Vic Dogs Christmas Pets Day out in Skye at the State Park in December

Rain, Rain and more rain has made for some pretty dirty dogs!!!! The cooler wet weather has meant that the dogs coming in have required more work. But they all leave looking fantastic and smelling great. Can't wait for summer when playing outside wont mean dirty footprints everywhere
