Just the sole runner Scone Race Club today in Race 8– RAVALAWA.

This will be the second start for the Denman gelding and while his debut over 1200m a fortnight ago was only modest, we are hoping a step to 1400m will help him find a better rhythm and some improvement.

He has drawn wide, but with the field reduced to eight runners through scratchings and the heavy track, he should be able to find a spot that suits and give him a good opportunity to help build on his race experience.

Dessert has had a cracking Pride of Dubai filly. Settling into the farm well. As always she is very foal proud.

Big Rusconi came first in a strong trial and was placed first up in the provincial level. He was looking promising however unfortunately had to be retired early. He is now Sutton farms nanny to our weanlings and is doing an excellent job. It takes a special horse to become a nanny and they are definitely not easy to come by….. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the only 4 year old gelding nanny thoroughbred in Australia. We take Animal welfare very seriously. For our retired race horses and mares we let them live out their lives relaxing on our farm or find a suitable home where they will be taken care of. Big thanks to Brad Widdup and Cameron Crockett racing for educating Rusconi and teaching him manners to pass onto our next generation.

Our Deep field and Rubick fillys have returned in tip top shape from Luke Morgan breakers.

Rusconi has been back on the farm spelling over the last few months. He is looking great and is one laid back dude - Such a kind natured horse

Winning Rupert x Fast n Feisty getting some pre training education at Luke Morgan’s Tamworth complex. She is behaving like a smart switched on horse, excited to see her enter the Cameron Crockett stables.
