The Plot has always been about filling a perceived niche & encouraging the growth of parochial interest in local produce. It made its first debut in 2006, with the opening of an edible plants and wholefoods business in Canberra and has evolved with us ever since. Over recent years there has been a rapid growth in this style of business activity in our local area and the niche has become mainstream

. It has also allowed us a guilt free transition prioritising our efforts developing a sustainable urban flower farm.

It would seem Chrissy has made its way right back around to us again. To kick the silly season off, we will have our flossy the flower cart out this coming Monday & Tuesday with our bargain $15 bunches as well as some of the cutest mini posies to set out for xmas lunch. DIY Eftpos or cash.

From the images, you could be forgiven in thinking that we have taken up macramé for beginners in the paddock!
What your actually looking at is the brainchild of our ingenious Bruce, who crafted posts from the wood of invasive wattle saplings & weaved a web of support from waste bailing twine for our growing blooms. This year, this bed will play host to the dahlia train…all aboard lovelies, those buds are finding their way through nicely.

The Plot made its first debut in 2006, with the opening of an edible plants and wholefoods business from the back of the Narrabundah shops in Canberra. After a 10-year hiatus chasing the sun in Perth, we are excited to be setting down roots again at our home in Bodalla! Our aim is simply to promote fresh LOCAL produce & products with zero food miles, using a community cooperative approach.
