Morning! It’s been a while, but we’re still bustling away in preparation for our summer growing period. We are very much looking forward to ramping up our operations this season, so if you are a florist, hospitality, retail or accommodation business, looking for the real deal in local spray free blooms, make sure to get in touch.

Partial to a paddock of blooms & looking for cheap accomodation?
We have a fully self contained onsite van up for grabs in Bodalla, ready to go. Private aspect with gated access, large kitchen, gas & electric cooking, reverse cycle heating & cooling, ensuite facilities plus external laundry. Give us 8 hours a week labour with yard work in exchange for free rent and water, and well throw in all the flowers you could want.
Its a 1 person gig and were so very sorry but unsuitable for children and pets. PM if interested.

Its the dead of winter and the end of a cold day spent being lashed by gusts of wind that would blow anyones washing right onto the next town. Right now theres calm, but shrapnel and sh*te everywhere. This beauty of a bucket however hasn’t moved an inch and stood her ground. I was given this bucket from a woman I very much admire. It belonged to her mother in law who recently passed. Im guessing, like this galvanised steel bucket, she would have been a strong woman, purposeful and elegant. A classic they just don’t make anymore. I cant wait to nurse all our seasonal blooms in her when we reopen for the summer season.

As our season well and truly comes to an end we are looking forward to having a little more time to escape & enjoy checking out some events around town. One we are so excited for is this!

If your around Moruya this Saturday 18th, drop by the RfR Community Solar Reuse centre (inside Moruya Transfer Station on 21 Yarragee Rd) to check out the Re-Fine exhibition. It kicks off at 11am with complimentary morning tea.

If you miss the opening, you can view on Fridays and Saturdays between 9:30am and 2.30pm until COB 7th of June. X

Join us this Saturday 18 May – 11am for the opening of the ‘Re Fine’ Exhibition by local scrap smith Sharon of Cardog Designs, followed by morning tea! One not to miss!

This exhibition will be open for viewing on Fridays and Saturdays through to 7 June.

Our fresh bunches went quick yesterday and we thank you all for your support and for braving this weather! From 8.30 this morning (sunday) we will have some of our potted Chrissies ($15) & mini dried posies ($5) down at Tyrrells Store Bodalla, snuggled up on their counter in the dry. We have grown these disbud chrysanthemums from bubbas especially for mothers day so if you missed out yesterday or are passing by today, stop in and pick up the longest lasting flowers you will find for your mama or nan x m

The most blissful sense of calm enveloped me last night whilst prepping and bunching blooms for todays Flossie flower cart & the good folk at Tyrrells.

I’m not sure whether it was knowing the flower season here is coming to an end or that i had indulged too much that afternoon with my loyal friend ‘janz’, but this calm wrapped me up and warmed me with absolute peace.

For those of you who know me you would agree this is quite some rarity. Juggling as many hats as i do seldom allows for such repose.

But i like it and as i sit down to share my first hot brekky in a long time with my man, knowing the flowers are ready and out, i wish other frenetic workaholics this weekend the same peace.
