🎊 Welcome to our new stud page! 🎊

I finally bit the bullet and begrudgingly resigned to the fact that my old fb account is never being returned to me, nor with it, my admin access to the original Khan Tekes Australia page. That page was established way back in 2012 when my very first Akhal Teke, Pirli Asman, blessed me with his arrival from Germany. A lot has transpired since then, as many of you well know 💔

Although the journey has been exceedingly rough and heartbreaking at times, my devotion to producing and promoting this incredible breed here in Australia remains steadfast.

So now, we will make new memories here and I'll endeavour to recover and repost historical material from the old KTA page here too, as time allows.

🌟 Bazyrgan's first Australian season has gone swimmingly! Literally and figuratively, with all 6 mares bred and expecting in 2025. 3 foals will be purebred and 3 partbred.

Our 4 mares who are in foal to Bazy are Kenar, Asha Ozal, Ajdarha Yürek and Khan Setara 💗

🌟 2 outside mares conceived via frozen semen, both with a single dose on the first attempt, and it doesn't get any better than that! 😁👏🏽 Congratulations to their respective breeders in WA(partbred) and QLD(purebred!) 🎉

🌟 If you are interested in breeding your mare to our Bazy, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We can easily ship Australia wide and it's definitely not too late in the season. He is offered via frozen semen only at present due to our time constraints(we have a new human baby 😉).

DUE TO MY ORIGINAL ACCOUNT ("JESS MEARES") BEING HACKED AND UNABLE TO BE RECOVERED SINCE IT WAS TAKEN ON THE 20TH APRIL 2024, WE ARE FORCED TO CLOSE THIS PAGE AND CREATE A NEW STUD PAGE 😞

Access has been extremely limited(via my partner Brad's profile only, who is moderator and not admin) and I'm unable to access messages or post updates. It also seems that all information and posts shared from my original personal account have been wiped.

A new "Khan Tekes Australia 2.0" stud page will be created and this one will sadly be deactivated in a month's time. We will announce when it's active ✅️

Many thanks to Meta(heavy sarcasm!) for having absolutely *non existent user support* in place for hacked accounts, and for handing 16 years of posts, photos, private message conversations and memories over to random hackers who are free to use my information for anything they like. They are still using my instagram account to try to scam others(they messaged my sister just this morning), despite nearly 2 months of reporting. There is absolutely no sign of any help forthcoming.

Hello fellow Teke lovers! You might have noticed we've been extra quiet lately. Unfortunately, due to some unknown fb technical issue(🤷🏼‍♀️), I've been unable to post photos, video, or even share public posts for quite some time ☹️

I'm not sure what, or if there will be a remedy for this issue, so I guess we just have to wait and see. Read on for our latest news...

🌟Current News🌟

🌟Our new stallion, Bazyrgan(Gorez x Bibihanum) bred by Alania Stud, is held up in Germany at present, after a horse in his quarantine group contracted a respiratory issue just prior to their departure date, preventing the flight from going ahead. Our friend Sue at Equine International Air Freight is doing everything within her power to get this issue resolved and we hope to be welcoming "Bazy" to his new home very soon.

🌟We are expecting a Mansur(IMP NLD, dec) foal from Khan Setara(Arabian, Tora Sardeeka x Shahwan Nakeeda Saouda) next month. A full sibling for our dear Khan Shamuda.

🌟Speaking of Shamuda, if there is anyone out there looking for a new best friend and partner in crime, "Mu" is available to only the most dedicated and loving of homes. She is a true in your pocket type and will follow you around all day if you let her. Quite a leggy girl at 2 yrs old, very elegant but with great body, and super pretty(how could she not be with Mansur as her sire, and Setara her dam?). Anyone interested is welcome to contact us for more details. We do expect that you will visit us to meet her in person if you wish to purchase her, so we can ensure you're both a perfect match for each other 💞

🌟A logo for our stud is finally in the pipeline! The heartfelt meaning in the final design will not be lost on anyone who has been following our journey from the start, with a beautiful shared moment between Pirli Asman(IMP DEU, dec) and our flawless Queen Kenar(IMP USA) the inspiration 💕

🌟FINALLY, we are cruising Western Australia in style these days in our new tow vehicle, a crisp white Toyota Tundra Limited double cab with "KHANTEKES" numberplates. You won't miss our white Aussie made Osborne Equine 3HAL "Roadtrain" horse float with "AKHALTEKE" plates either. If you see us out and about, please feel free to wave, holler or come and have a chat. I'm only too happy to "talk Tekes" at any opportunity 😊

I will endeavour to make news updates monthly going forwards, although I'm still sulking that I can't post any new photos of our beautiful herd, especially our darling purebred fillies, Khan Amaya and Khan Isabel 💝💝 As always, we welcome visitors if you are ever in the vicinity of Ranford/Boddington, WA and want to see our amazing horses in the flesh!

Khan Amaya, the adorable baby of our growing herd of purebred Akhal Tekes ☺️ She is 6 days old and getting her zoomies on in their fresh new pasture 💕

Amaya is by the fabulous Russian bred Mudaris, out of Asha Ozal(Imp Denmark). Her conception was a massive joint effort, fraught with obstacles and set backs that were out of our control, by myself and Asha's breeder, my long time friend Lisa Engel Belhage 🤝🏼 Thank you Lisa! 💛

To now be sitting here, in brilliant sunshine on this gorgeous Winter's day, watching both Asha and Amaya grazing peacefully with Kenar, Akilah and Mu, is a hard won joy, and one that I will never take for granted 💖

Khan Akilah(the paler and taller black filly) and Khan Shamuda, enjoying a fresh paddock yesterday in glorious Winter sunshine.

We seeded this and another paddock with an Equine Grazing mix earlier this year and have been waiting for the roots to establish before letting the horses on it.

Kenar, the herd boss, grazes peacefully, nobody is silly enough to bother her. Asha(who is second in charge) protects her 5 day old filly by Mudaris, Khan Amaya, from the cheeky marauders, as they try to entice Amaya to play with them!

Waiting... waiting... waiting 😅 Asha Ozal is 348 days now and still looks to be a few nights off foaling yet. She is fitted with a foaling alarm and we have a camera on her foaling suite, accessible from anywhere with mobile reception. Foal watch has become very easy with technology! 👏🏽

This eagerly awaited baby will be the first offspring by Mudaris born in Australia, and if Asha produces anything like her dam Geya(Adygheya Ozal) did to him, we will be thrilled to bits! ✨️

Friday our saddle fitter came from Hannah Knaebel from Topline saddles, our Peter Horobin saddle rep... and what do you know...
When Hannah was younger and on the East coast she trained with Jim Graham who had the 2 geldings ZNg and Dang bred by Phil Case ,and she got to ride them!
